We had a wonderful time in José's b&b. The house is lovely, and the big garden (with the nice swimming pool) made us feel like we're in the middle of the countryside, very quiet, although we were at a 5 minutes walking distance from Italia street where you can find bakeries, shops and restaurants. Also, a perfect location to visit...

I think there are 5 private rooms here in this lovely house. We booked 2 rooms for 4 days (one person in each). This is why its so good and why its #1 on tripadvisor for the area: - Jose is great owner/host. Responds to email/whatsapp very quickly. Speaks good english. Very hospitable - Located on a big property in...

We stayed in the upstairs room of the main building. The room was clean and comfortable. Our son had a bed in the sitting area outside our room. The posada is on a lovely large piece of land dotted with fruit trees. Breakfast is coffee, tea and pastries. The family who owns and runs the posada is very nice and...

This place is run bij a very nice couple. They will do anything for you to make your stay as nice as possible. The posada itself is very simple. The swimming pool area really needs to be cleaned. We dit not go into the swimming pool because of that. Breakfast is nothing special. Fresh bread and jam is all you...

The owners of this B&B couldn't be nicer. The beds and rooms are comfortable. The location is a little out of the way (you really need a car). There are wineries and a small village with shops and a few restaurants but not enough to keep busy for the day especially as everything shuts down between 1:30 and 6:00pm. It...

Loved the Posada Olivar. quiet, clean and friendly. Family were so helpful booking local wineries for us to visit. We caught the local bus to Mendoza to look at the sites but we were happy to get back to Posada Olivar and the little town of Chacras de Coria.. Could cook if you wish in a fully equiped kitchen, but...

Jose and Eugenia make you feel at home, and with baby Gaston to entertain, we felt like part of the family. The Posada is beautiful, quiet, clean and comfortable. Having a pool to jump in after a day of exploring was a treat, the patio to sit and visit is lovely, and the town of Chacras is fun to explore...

We have just finished a 5 month motorcycle trip, sold our bike and were looking for somewhere to relax and "have a holiday" before our long flight back to Australia! Man, did we find heaven! From the moment we were let into the secure gated complex we knew we had found heaven. We were very warmly greeted by the owners...

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Posada Olivar in Chacras de Coria, Mendoza. We found this posada through TripAdvisor, and we could not have found a better place. The posada has only 5 rooms, so it feels intimate and quiet. There is a kitchen for the guests to share, and the rooms are very comfortable and very clean....

“The posada has a total of 5 or 6 rooms, most of which are on the ground floor with a large patio with a lovely seating area directly facing the garden and a swimming pool. We stayed in one of the middle rooms and it was quiet, fresh and nice to socialise with other guests enjoying the patio. The room was large and spacious enough to fit 3 girls and all our suitcases with a king (and I mean KING) size bed and a single bed, big bathroom and a closet. Jose even offered to add another bed but there was no need. No A/C but there was no need for it even in the middle of the summer as the room never got hot and the night breeze was so refreshing.”

“When Jose says "Old mansion" he means the house where he himself lives, we slept there and it was like a big apartment. No arconditioning, but very cool due to thick walls, so very good room/choice!”
