The bungalow arrangement of guest rooms were comfortable and gave an initial impression of the Hobbits homes in the shire of Lord of the Rings. Well equipped and comfortable. The grounds are green with lush plants and trees. Sitting on a park bench beneath the moonlight in the night air was an ideal opportunity for my wife and I breath and communicate. The proximity to vineyard tours and great food, coupled with the mountain scenery as we traveled is unmatched. Great wine, great food, great scenery, and friendly professional staff on hand to resolve you every need. I will happily return to Casa Glebinias on another occasion. Thank you to the owner and staff for your courtesy and service for our wedding anniverary stay at your hotel. Continued success to you!!

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed for 3 nights in August 2022 and had an amazing stay. We were blown away by how friendly, welcoming and helpful the staff were. From before we even arrived the reception team were quick to answer questions I had via email, and after our arrival they continued to deliver high level service- organising bikes for us and finding us last minute bookings at local wineries (I hadn't realised you had to book winery visits ahead of time). They put together winery itineraries for us in a very short amount of time and even surprised us with a bottle of sparkling rose as we were celebrating a special occasion! The cleaning staff were lovely- we were amazed at how quickly they turned around our room from the chaos we left it in (having madly unpacked) to being clean, neat and tidy- and we were greeted with a hello and a smile every morning from the gardeners. Really everyone we met at the hotel, from the staff to the other guests, was friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely, nicely furnished with lovely stained glass windows, a private balcony, a mini kitchen and a bathroom with a bath. We felt we had all the privacy we needed while only being a short walk to the reception for any assistance and breakfast every morning. The breakfast selection isn't large but everything was delicious- the waffles with dulce de leche were my favourite along with the freshly made omelettes. The town nearby is a short walk away and offers restaurants, bars and shops, and there are lots of wineries in the area to either visit by bike or car. Mendoza itself is around 40-50 minutes away by bus (quicker by taxi). The bus is easy to get and the bus stop is just at the end of the street) Overall we can't say enough nice things about this hotel- if you are looking for someone to stay away from the city, with friendly people and great service then we thoroughly recommend Casa Glebinias. We are already talking about when we can go back!

The units were like cottages in a garden. lovely location and neighborhood. We could leave the doors and windows open and felt like sitting in the open air. The staff were so very much appreciated and even walked hundreds of yards to let us know our wi-fi was not reaching us and offered to help call our tour company and saved the day for us. Each day the staff seemed they went out of their way to make sure we had food, our room was in order, that no needs were left unattended. This is one location no one should miss.

A lovely hotel and grounds with swimming pool. Breakfast and dinner were all good and staff helpful and kind for most aspects of the stay. As per an earlier review when we came to check out we were required to go through a right song and dance with regards to the bill and payment. Initially I was presented with a bill in US dollars which they insisted was the only method of payment. I insisted that I wanted to pay in the local currency (Peso) and hence to convert the bill. After much discussion and some quite strange arguments they finally agreed I could pay in Peso but it would be at a conversion rate calculated using the MEP (tourist) rate (hence nearly doubling the price). Another robust discussion ensued where finally after many minutes they agreed to present a correct bill in Peso with a conversion calculated using the official rate. This all left a rather sour taste. If a tourist or visitor to the country is not aware of the unique situation in Argentina then it appears this hotel is preying on this to unfairly extract more money from their guests. It's a shame as I wouldn't return to this hotel again.

Superb little place. Gorgeous grounds and super accommodations. Staff were ALL wonderful as was owner Maria who we met. Ate twice at restaurant which was excellent. Breakfast also very good. We were about 4 weeks into our holiday so needed a bit of luxury and peace...this was it. Booked our own wine tour but they were helpful with everything else.

The setting was beautiful and the staff warm and helpful, both before and after we arrived. They arranged transportation from and to the airport, as well as a winery/hiking tour. We arrived late and the restaurant accommodated us with a small meal, of course with a nice glass of wine. The front desk folks helped with a packing issue. The grounds are spacious and well maintained. Location is nice, between center city and the rural wineries.

We stayed here for 3 nights as a special treat to ourselves in the middle of a busy backpacker-style tour of Argentina and we loved every minute of our stay. The hotel itself is set in beautiful relaxing gardens and the rooms are in little cottages in the gardens. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The main house where you can have breakfast and dinner is pretty as well, with a glass garden room to sit in. It’s all really lovely. The best thing is the staff - they were all brilliant and went to so much effort to make everything as easy and relaxed for us as possible. Before we arrived, they helped with arranging tours and transport in advance, and they answered all our questions. While we were staying at the hotel, I felt like we were asking them so many things but they were always cheerful and happy to help, and really nice to talk to. They really helped us feel at home and relaxed. We also did a cooking class with the chef, who taught us a lot and was really skilled with his work. We also had dinner at the hotel on one of the other nights and his food was delicious, the best we had in Argentina. All in all, we would really recommend a stay here!

A cosy nice hotel located in a large garden with beautiful trees, bushes and flowers and a gorgeous and at times breath-taking landscape. The whole experience was however, stained by the owners' greed. The receptionists and staff (particularly Shannon) were super helpful. Their recommendations on restaurants and vineyards were excellent. All these places are easily accessible on bike. Shannon arranged us to go and hire the bikes from local shop. Very helpful positive staff there too. There was a heating issue in our room which was quickly fixed. The hotel rooms are scattered around the garden in small buildings, with old furniture, some of which, we were told, are recycled from old buildings. This was to provide you with a rustic, bohemian and boutique feel but I believe it works a bit against the intended purpose, as some furniture are flimsy, uncomfortable. We had very little natural light in our room, due to the position of the building, with the small windows hidden behind trees. The few lamps in the main room were dim, not providing enough light. The WiFi signal was temperamental and weak, particularly in our room. I had to resort to my mobile internet at the end. The breakfast is included, and is in the form of a very basic buffet. On the second day, the other guests mentioned that any thing extra such as fried eggs, omelette, ham, etc are only provided if we asked for them. We did and the staff were happy to provide them straight away. The hotel is very unique and beautiful but overall turned out quite overpriced for what it has to offer, due to the way the hotel charged us. We wanted to pay in Argentinan pesos with my credit card, as I didn't have more cash left. However, instead of simply charging me in Argentinan pesos like anyone else, they chose an approach which seems quite opportunistic and probably illegal: The number of pesos they asked me to pay was based on "blue dollar rate (MEP)" which is 75% more than the official dollar rate. That meant they charged me with 75% more pesos than they should. This is contradicting the prices on the hotel's website, where the prices in pesos and US dollars are based on official dollar rate. When I complained, they said they had to calculate the price based on the MEP rate, as I was using my card. This was simply incorrect information, as a recent Argentinian government rule before Christmas 2022, allows tourists to use their cards in pesos, regardless of the rate. This ruling came in to stop the hurdles tourists have had in exchanging their US dollars to pesos in blue rate. And the service providers have to offer you their services in a price similar to other Argentinan and nationals. They still didn't accept my reasoning and seemed keen to use the opportunity to make more pesos from my money, regardless of the legality of their practice. Overall, I feel that, the beautiful hotel failed us and overcharged us as tourists.

The warm welcome and continuous kind treatment by the owners and staff enhanced what was by design an already magical stay at a location which has found the prefect balance between architectural beauty and a garden of Eden landscaping. Look no further for your accommodation in Mendoza . You have found it.
