This was such an awesome hotel! Very small I believe 3-4 rooms is all they have. We were the only guests when we stayed. Unfortunately it looks like they are no longer open... I tried to book again and their website isn't working, and I get no response.
It is so rare to book a hotel and find that it far exceeds your expectations...Casa Margot is one of these places. Service (the staff could not have been more helpful), attention to detail and an amazing property await. I would highly recommend a stay here and I can't wait to return.
You feel you are in for a unique experience from the moment you step into the Casa Margot property. We were greeted by the wonderful hosts and had the chance to settle into our room very quickly. There are only two rooms at Casa Margot and if you are one of those lucky people to stay here, you will soon understand why. The hotel was once home to renowned Argentine sculptor Eliana Molinelli. The owners did an excellent job in conserving her story. The original photographs hang on the walls and her sculptures can be found around the garden. In addition, the new winemaker proprietors have brought their delicious Valle de Uco wines into the picture. We stayed in the Celedonio suite. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and had beautiful architectural details. After settling in, we had a wine tasting with food pairings conducted by Casa Margot's sommelier. She was excellent at explaining the story behind the wines and answering our questions. I must say, all of the wines we tasted were delightful. After the wine tasting, the chef prepared a seasonal dinner for us that was delicious and elegant. The dessert was out of this world. It felt like we were from the royal family dining in our castle. The next morning, a delicious breakfast was served based on our selections from the night before. Casa Margot paid attention to every detail making sure our stay was marvelous. If I could give Casa Margot 10 stars on Tripadvisor, I would. I highly recommend Casa Margot for anyone who is planning a trip to the Mendoza wine region. This is an experience not to be missed. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful Casa with us!…
From the moment you are met with a cool glass of champagne, to the time you sadly have to leave, you feel enshrined in a world of total service dedicated to your every need. The 24 hour service is provided by two of the most delightful ladies you could ever wish to meet. The surroundings and building itself, provide a calm and classy environment you don't want to leave. That said with the top 3 rated trip advisor restaurants in walking distance, you may be tempted outside. Only 2 rooms, so make sure you book well in advance.
The hotel is Clean, quiet and warm. Staff very attentive. Very good location: fair from the Mendoza city center, but near the Lujan de Cuyo vineyards. There are many goog restaurants in the area. Stores and small shoppings as well.
Greta place, great food and service. I spent my wedding anniversary there and it was great
Hidden in the residential neighbourhood about 1/2 mile from downtown Chacras ( suburb of Mendoza ) is this 2-room B&B with its own restaurant ( open to non-guests only weekends ) and pool....Its very quiet behing high brick walls but with a sizeable grounds it feels like a country....To get in, one needs to ring the bell on outside gate and there is a staff 24-hours to open gate for guest or staff only....Very quiet and secluded inside but lot to see outside. Directly across the street is a small bakery where you should try fresh empanadas...Aprox 1/4 mile is a restaurant and winery ( restaurant is OK but free winery tour was a disappointment ) Downtown has some more restaurants, bank directly on main square but another 1/2 mile past the downtown is an array of boutiques and coffee shops. To eat at Casa Mendoza you have to advise them in advance but it is worthwhile. Their chef Santiago prepares excellent meals and they have good selection of local wines...Entire staff ( sometime 2:1 ratio for a guest ) is very attentive. Rooms a very spacious and clean. A perfect get-away for 3-4 days but if you stay longer, you will need to take some extra tours in the area. We happened to stay there during the vindemia carnival ( first weekend in March ) which was fun. The staff arranged transportation to downtown Mendoza and suggested excellent restaurant to view festivities. We recommend this place for couples.…
We loved Casa Margot! We really needed a completely understated breakaway place to act as our haven from the dreaded commercial world of investment banking and it truly became this haven of peacefulness. The staff our literally at your beck and call, and consequently, the ability to dial "24" on your phone 247 is truly a delight. The room had the ability to transport you to another place and time and the bed was particularly very comfortable. The breakfasts were a feast although at times we maybe would have preferred to have the fruit platter or the milk and teas already laid out such that we could help ourselves... More like a " Mi Casa su Casa". We would also have really appreciated a complementary tea and coffee station in the room and perhaps a truly decadent treat around mid afternoon, something that good ole Chef Santiago could whip up just to blow our socks off. We would also have really appreciated an extensive list of possible excursions in the valley as the immediate suburbs do not really present many memorable site-seeing opportunities. What would have also been very nice, is to be able to choose our breakfast the night before and to have this bought to our room at a designated time, as this would have truly completed the feeling of opulence and decadence to which the boutique hotel lends itself. Picnic blankets and a picnic in the garden as well as proper lounges by the pool would go a long way to expanding the number of locations at the hotel to,soak up the ambience and a spa bath in the room will truly bow the minds of future personnel. One of our lasting moments is returning to the room to find a bottle of champagne chilling in an ice bucket with Ferror Rochers on our pillars and the room illuminated in twenty or so lanterns! Casa Margot you are right there in creating something truly unforgettable! Much gracias!…
From the personal attentive service, to the customized dinner options by a quasi personal chef, this hotel made us feel welcome and special from start to finish. It is the little extras that add to the experience, from food to the hotel itself. The day starts with a heavenly breakfast, a day of vineyard visits, organized even at the last minte without effort (or so it seems) and ends with a massage followed by dinner in the bistro or in our case a platter of the finest cheese and jamon to go along with our just purchased favorite wine. You'll enjoy every minute!
If you are looking for rest and relaxation, then you have found the right place. We stayed at Casa Margot for four nights and it was wonderful. The space is unique and divine. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. They take wonderful care of you and you want for nothing. Delicious does not begin to describe the food and I swear it was the best coffee I had since my grandmother's. We originally planned to stay on a vineyard, but chose this place instead and my husband and I were so glad that we did. There is a winery within walking distance and they will make all of the arrangements for you. If you request it, then they will make it happen. Ana Lucia arranged for both full day and half day winery tours. I decided at the last minute to have a Tango lesson, and the couple was there within hours. The massages were wonderful and relaxing. The Argentinian BBQ left us completely stuffed. There were so many wonderful features about Casa Margot, that it was difficult for us to leave and tour wineries which was our initial reason for visiting Mendoza. Special thanks to Nicolas and Julia, they were wonderful.…
