My husband and enjoyed two weeks in the Toltec suite. It was truly home away from home. How can you not love waking up with the mountains to the left and the ocean to the right!! We enjoyed walking a short distance into La Penita. We met many great canadians and mexicans!! Milo was always the hi-lite of the day....

My husband and I stayed a week here in the Aztec suite. It had everything you might need to cook your own meals and relax by the pool. Everything was very clean. We made use of the barbeque getting fresh fish from the fisherman daily. Robi and Dan were delightful hosts of their well kept and beautiful grounds. The pool...

Sunset Casa was everything that the website and pictures said it would be! The pool and the grounds were immaculate:) What an amazing place to spend a week! The casita is like your own apartment...living area, kitchen and dining area, bedroom , bathroom, and a balcony. Shaw satellite was a very nice touch for catching up on news before bed...

Lovely private oceanfront oasis , well-designed and immaculately kept. A very comfortable size, with separate bedroom, well-equipped kitchen and balcony overlooking the lagoon ( great for bird-watching!) and the ocean. We were delighted to find that the La Penita business district was only a short walk down the beach, and that one could also walk to Guyabitos . On-site hosts...

Sunset Casa in La Penita Jaltemba is located right on the beach which is wonderful if you love to hear the ocean all day and night. It is a short walk to downtown over the foot bridge and even shorter if the tide is out and you walk left down the beach. The surrounding area is not, for the most...

I had a trip booked for Easter, staying at the Sunset Casa for 10 days. Unfortunately (or fortunately, whichever way you look at it), I landed a new job and had to cancel my much anticipated vacation. My refund was handled immediately with ease and grace, greatly reducing my stress over my cancellation. I can't thank Robi enough for being...

Spent a lovely two weeks in May. The weather was just perfect. We were a little disappointed that some of the restaurants were closed as the season was almost over. We did find a few spots open including Hinde and Jamies, Café Arabe, Irmas, El Rodeo and Matejas to name a few. We loved walking the beach in the early...

After 5 years of spending time in all inclusives we decided to spread our wings and try something different. We booked our vacation at Sunset Csa and we loved it. Dan and Robi and Milo the Schnauzer made us feel comfortable and welcome. The apartment was spacious and airy. The town was a short walk away. We loved the small...

First off, I must say that we spent Jan/Feb at the resort and met the guests from Campbell River and Kimberly who gave previous reviews. I did not find them difficult or unpleasant in any way. They were always polite and I did not witness any unreasonable behavior or demands on their part. Although Robi means well, she can be very...

I was not going to bother writing a revue but after reading these two negative revues I will. We spent two weeks there and found it to be a lovely choice. The apartments are beautiful and the grounds are spotless. We really enjoyed the walk to town for all the interesting restaurants. The pool area was private an quiet just...
