What a great place to stay - accommodating hosts, comfortable apartment, well maintained gardens and furniture, lovely pool and central location. What more could one ask for! We enjoyed a seven week stay here in La Penita and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Next year, we plan to return. Bob and Linda go out of their way to make their guests...

We had a wonderful vacation at Casita de la Penita all thanks to the awesome hosts, Bob and Linda! From the great accommodations, to the restaurant recommendations and reservations, as well as the massage by the pool, they made sure every day of our trip surpassed our expectations. It was an authentic Mexican experience that you just don't get from...

The accommodations were excellent with a twenty step walk to the Pacific. We were surrounded by worthwhile restaurants and shops and took advantage of the perfect weather. Linda and Bob treated us like royalty during our stay and would highly recommend La Casita de La Penita to anyone who wants to experience a vacation rich in true Mexican culture.

We love this little motel on the beach. We have visited the Casita twice, and have already booked for next year, because everything about it is perfect. La Penita is a very interesting little Mexican town where you can feel at home, very relaxed, and try out a little Spanish when buying your fresh tortillas, prawns, avocados, and papayas (etc)...

I spent a lovely relaxing week at La Casita over Christmas. This is a destination for someone who is looking for a feel of real Mexico as opposed to a "resort holiday". It was perfect for my goals of reading, swimming, sunning, walking and eating great seafood, while experiencing the Mexican celebrations of Christmas. Bob and Linda were wonderful hosts,...

We stayed in Casita de la Penita in late November of this year and had a wonderful time. Our hosts, Bob and Linda, were really nice and helped us choose restaurants, taxis, etc. They were a wealth of information about La Penita and the surrounding areas. The Casita is extremely clean, well maintained and safe. We stayed in unit #7...

We arrived late in the evening after a taxi ride through what seemed to be jungle with trees overhanging the road, so we didn't have a really clear idea of where we were, but Bob and Linda greeted us with smiles and a warm welcome and made us feel at home. The location of this little property could not be...

This is a perfect little oasis in the centre of a truly authentic village. Bob and Linda are great hosts with plenty of suggestions and advise for getting around and experiencing the whole Mexican experience. The place is small so you get a chance to just say hi or if you like, visiting with other guests. The court yard area...

The hosts Bob and Linda were fine. The hotel is overpriced for what you get. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for a week. There is no maid service. You can take your sheets to the office to be exchanged once a week. One small bath towel per guest that can be exchanged twice a week. We stayed in...

Thank you kindly for your feedback; we only wish you had shared some of your concerns throughout your stay as your feedback in our guests book is far more positive it seems. Our suites are self-sustained living and our guests generally find this to be a very appealing feature. For a nominal fee of about 5$ or 6$, our maid...

This is everything you ever wanted. Bob and Linda are the perfect hosts. They will make all the arrangements for you to go swimming with the dolphins, zip lining, the glass bottom boat to snorkel, court yard pot luck, taxis, or whatever you want to do. By the time you've been there a day or two everyone is like family....

“There are only seven unique rooms, each with their own personality, the upper rooms have a better view of the water but the lower rooms have a cozy, shared patio that is wonderful for sharing a cold beverage with your neighbours. There is no A/C, it is not necessary, the rooms stay at a comfortable temperature and the ceiling fans keep it fresh and much better for sleeping.”
