Beautiful resort .we stayed a week we took side trip to near by small towns. Tapalpa Colima Negueras and Tequila town fun place to spend a day don't get drunk------- weather was very comfortable excerpt couple of days rain(drizzle)

Something that's really striking about the aesthetic at this hotel is the beautiful decor. There are sculptures, paintings, and works of art at every turn. It feels fully infused with a lot of style and personality. Speaking of personality: we felt really warmly welcomed, and we genuinely enjoyed the team. It felt friendly, and I felt like we made friends. Ohhh man, and the restaurant was incredible! First of all, we were pretty tickled by the white tablecloth strewn with fresh rose petals. Super romantic. And the food itself? Wow. Very special. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back. We were shown around the town, and were really enchanted with some of the special place around town: Cajetas Lugo was a really cool tour, Jose Ojeda knives were works of art, and the Sayula brewery was pretty awesome. There's a lot to do around town. Oh, and the spa is really relaxing! Hot soak in the hot tub, great massage, and nice refreshment for the soul. It's a great weekend road trip out of Ajijic or whatever part of Lake Chapala lakeside. Make a trip of it!…

This 200 year old hotel has been upgraded over the years and the original wood has been reused to build benches and tables within the hotel. It is a beautiful hotel with a lovely pool in the courtyard which also houses the excellent restaurant called La Frambuesa. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all meals were very good. Service was excellent. Maria was exceptional, going above and beyond providing us with interesting sights to see in Sayula. She even took the time out of her busy schedule to direct us to one of the tours we took of the candy factory there, by driving her vehicle and having us follow her. She is a very professional and proficient business woman, who takes pride in her hotel and the city of Sayula. It was a pleasure to meet her. Our stay at the Gran Casa Sayula was made extra special because of the staff of this very beautiful and quaint hotel. We would highly recommend staying here.…

Everything was perfect! Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great food, wonderful spa! All at a very reasonable price! We only spent one night but we wish it could have been more! Great location to walk anywhere in town!

We stayed two nights and enjoyed every second! We can't rave enough about the incredible restaurant and spa. I highly suggest enjoying the day around town, coming back to have a cocktail, a swim... then relax with a massage and then end the day with an incredible meal and glass of wine. Honestly, you will thank me. :-) We can't wait to go back!

Very nice value for money, excellent service, nice swimming pool. Good food in the restaurant. Not much to see in Sayula (a nice church, a nice plaza, the town craft is making beautiful knives) , but this hotel is nice for a quiet weekend doing nothing.

The Gran Casa is as the name implies a grand old classic hacienda. We had lunch by the pool on both visits to the town, and enjoyed the food, drinks and ambience immensely. It is a quiet sanctuary in a busy town. The manager came over to see how we were doing and spoke good english, which further enhanced the comfort and good service that we have found typical. The waiter was also fluent and guided us to the best choices on their large menu. ...just a couple of blocks off of thh main square with convenient on street parking.

The staff and service was amazing. The room was clean and good sized. The location is in the center of town, easy walking to the Cajeta store and Knife store. We celebrated my friends birthday and they brought out a desert for him that had Happy Birthday written on the plate. The spa treatment was the best. We were in the steam, jacuzzi and then a massage. So relaxing. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and spa. Thank you Gran Casa staff.

I cant complain. Even if the place is quaint we loved the place and the theme. The service was excellent as was the food and spa. The rooms were great and the pool was always warm so we never wanted to get out. It was an unforgetable experience. I would definitely want to come back every now and then.

My wife and I had such a pleasant stay at Gran Casa Sayula. Very relaxing. Our room was beautiful, and cleaned daily. Room was located steps away from the clean pool and nice bar. I loved the garden courtyard to. Staff is very friendly and went out of there to make sure we were taken care of. A big THANK YOU to the chef Juan, for cooking up the best meals. We will definitely stay at Gran Casa Sayula in our next return.
