a one time classy hotel, now being restored for many years already, i have been there 5 times, each time a little thing is new, but still there is much to fix, taps are ancient, bathrooms very old, many facilities including fitness room, need restoration. the breakfast is extraordinary, wifi is fine, meeting rooms old but not bad and price... This is a long-standing Tolucan hotel, which, with the new competition from international chain hotels, has not really kept up. It certainly has nice touches - the lobby area is large, and there is a quiet enclosed garden area. But the overall impression is one of faded past glory. The rooms are average - quite large and mostly clean, but... More

Was there recently for the wedding of a friend as well as spending the night. Very big and has all that one will need whether one is in Toluca as a tourist, on business, renting one of the many huge conference rooms or just to relax. The courtyard is really nice and relaxing. The rooms are a good size, have... More

This hotel was recommended by a Mexican friend. I'm glad I booked it too. It is a charming hotel convenient to local attractions, shopping and restaurants. It has a mission style design w/ several interior gardens. Staff are very friendly. It is an older facility, which gives it its charm, so don't expect 5 star amenities. The wi-fi can be... More

I stayed there for one night with my family and enjoyed the hotel. It is an old building but with good maintenance in general. Rooms need upgrading - lighting is low, electric plugs are insufficient as well as located in uncomfortable locations. Restaurant is good, specially the breakfast buffet.

I stayed here for one night while on a volcano climbing trip in Mexico. The location is close to the highway, but is in a business / industrial area with no food or dining options within walking distance. My room was on the first floor, above the lobby / reception area. Strangely, two of the walls were completely glass. Even... More

Lighting is not enough, electric plugs are not enough nowadays you need one close to a center table or at least to your bed because of cellphones and lap tops. Light switches are weirdly installed you try to turn off the entrance light and surprise you turn off the plug where you connect your cell. Bath facilities are awful the... More

This hotel is a little bit old and the architecture is colonial, nevertheless is very good, clean and all the personnel is friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves a very varied and abundant buffet for breakfast, meal and dinner. the rooms are big and although they to seem a little bit old fashioned, they are clean and are very confortable
