Booked a last minute DBB deal here and we certainly werent let down (except we never recieved the sparkling wine on arrival). Staff at the hotel were really great and although the building is a good age it has aged well. Food was really.good with a varied choice and breakfast was buffet style with plenty to choose from A great... More

I am the Captain of the 1st Monifieth Boys Brigade Company. Our boys and most of my staff stayed at the Abernethy Bothy, while I had to stay close-by, at this very cosy hotel - one of the small perks of being a Company Captain. I stayed for 5 nights room only. The room was excellent and could not be... More

Built for another era in the Scottish Baronial style and possibly showing its age. We needed an evening here and booking was straightforward on line. A very warm welcome on our arrival and a comfortable room with a view over the parkland across the road. Car parking could be a problem at peak periods but we found a space. The... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your review of the Nethybridge Hotel. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We do have a very traditional late Victorian Scottish Country Hotel, although there has been an inn on this site for centuries. We are running a constant refurbishment programme to spruce up the areas of the hotel that need it,... More

Dear Guest, Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. The hotel is old, and is currently undergoing and that is why there would have been furniture etc. in the games room. The worn carpets will be looked at in due course. Being an old hotel, some of our roof rooms do have sloping ceilings, but... More

My family stayed here for two nights as part of a longer trip through Ireland and Scotland. I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was booked by our travel agent who has brought tour groups to the hotel, and I can see why she keeps going back. The hotel is old and management has preserved the Victorian style of the...
