First time we've stayed here but certainly won't be the last. We stayed in East Dell and while smaller than it might look in the photographs it was a fantastic place to stay. All rooms were beautifully presented and very clean and comfortable. Polly was on hand to greet us and show us what was where. Little touches like chocolate... More

This was our third time staying at the Dell of Abernethy. The cottage, (we stayed in Little Dell), was perfect; welcoming, well-equipped with everything you'd need, and with a real cosy character. Sitting outside we were able to watch the resident red squirrels and spotted loads of wildlife in the woods around the Dell, including deer. The location is also... More

We had a family gathering here for my dad's 80th. The accommodation was just perfect. We had 26 friends and family using the various cottages and the lodge. It was clean and extremely comfortable and everyone loved the beautiful shabby chic style. The bathrooms in the lodge were amazing. For self catering the Lodge and cottages are extremely well stocked... More

My husband and I and our baby boy have just got back from a wonderful 4 nights stay at The Dell of Abernethy (Near Dell). We are growing incredibly fond of this idyllic, magical place- Polly, Ross and their boys have created a very special getaway destination in a stunning corner of Scotland. Near Dell is advertised as the budget... More

we have been at the dell several times, the experience is always so great we keep coming back for more. the houses, the hosts, the environment, the detail, the nature, make it a perfect stay, for us, a family of four, and friends. we know there are other beautiful places in Scotland we should visit, and we will, but meanwhile...... I am utterly shocked to see there are any reviews that are less than excellent - and I don't say that lightly, I'm usually known for being quite typically British and finding fault in everything! We stayed in Near Dell in 2014 with some extended family, it was small but cozy and never felt *too* small. When we arrived there... More

On our visit we stayed in Little Dell. The drive to the Dell of Abernethy was beautiful and the surrounding areas are stunning. Our cottage was lovely, very quaint. I loved the feel of going back to the past with the furniture and decor. Great information provided in the welcome book about places to eat, things to do and general... More

Stayed in West Dell with friends when some of us were on courses at Glenmore Lodge. Arrived to find the fire on and homemade brownies on the table which was lovely. The cottage is just charming - rustic and homely with tasteful decor. We never met Polly and Ross as they were taking a well earned break but Nicole was... More

I stayed with a group of friends in the Dell lodge a little while back (January 2014 actually). Polly and her husband are wonderful! Polly was so nice to pick 2 of us up in a great little pub in Aviemore (The Old Bridge Inn) due to lack of own transport. Arriving at the dell lodge was like stepping into... More
