My husband and I spent one night at Kiltearn House in mid-August. We selected it as a strategically located stop along the route from the Glasgow airport to the ferry to the Orkney Islands. It was a wonderful choice for many reasons. Foremost, we were well taken care of by our hosts, Ed and Nel. After an overnight flight from... More

Lovely guesthouse with beautiful views across the Cromarty firth. A great base to explore the stunning scenery and venture inland to the parks and mountains. Breakfast was tasty and the room perfect with all ammenities. The house is beautiful ( we were told used to be a vicarage) and very atmospheric. Imagine in all seasons it would be a relaxing... We had a one night stay at Kiltearn House and it was lovely. The house is huge and our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed. There was an honor bar in the hallway which was a great idea. Bathroom was very small but you actually didn't need anything bigger. The handy hot water shower... More

My wife and I just got back from our Scotland Babymoon (we are expecting). The Kiltearn House was the second stop of our trip. Its run by Nel and Ed, and they do a fabulous job of making their guests comfortable, which is the true mark of a great B&B. Their sunroom looks over the yard and Scottish hillside, we... More
