Firstly all the staff were cheery, outgoing and helpful. I stayed over on a Sunday night and was allocated a small, single room which looked very tired with paint peeling from the windows. There was an odd selection of furniture with a small mirrored dressing table with no seat, a single armchair (which didn't fit the table) and wardrobe. The...

We booked here and stayed for a night on our travels. We got a great welcome on arrival and went up to drop our bags in the room. The room was lovely and clean and had everything you would need in it. We popped into town for a few drinks then came back later for a meal. We both had...

This hotel, in the small area of Dingwall, was dissapointly average. The only features which made it an enjoyable experience were the hotel food, and the service by the waitress who was simply excellent at her job. The room was both cold due to a lack of real heating - there was a small electric heater but it smelt of...

This hotel is very functional if away on business with immaculate bedding and room cleanliness. Yes it's dated and yes it's tired but for the money it's good value. Dinner no issues with, breakfast another matter. There were construction type workers there having breakfast who all walked out after stating their sausages were frozen as were the mushrooms on their...

Excellent soup and service on both occasions I have visited this new cafe. Quick service, good coffee and choice of baking supplied by local bakers. Basic decor but clean. Lovely, very pleasant and chatty girl behind the coffee counter on both my visits which is more than can be said about the owner who was very rude to her within...

Arrived on a cold damp evening. We were welcomed with a warm welcome from the new owners of the hotel. There is a nice restaurant and a trendy coffee bar on the premises too. Our room was spacious and clean. WiFi is good and a good size TV in the room. All the staff seemed very friendly and professional. I...
