I had high expectations of the hotel as people had said it was very popular. Check in was fine and I was asked if I wanted dinner and attend the nightly ghost tour. I opted for room service and asked for a ham sandwich and a salad. It arrived exactly at the time requested but it was very poor, just... More

Really looked forward to visit this establishment as it was part of a surprise from our son & daughter-in-law. Staff polite friendly & helpful no problems there but oh the room. Was expecting a room at least with a view , a sitting area & not in the rafters, what we got was a twin room which we had asked... More

I am finally ready to leave a review after spending two nights here with my husband. The location and the castle itself are amazing. To be able to spend time in what I would call, living history, is incredible. The castle is very original and all rooms can be used and items can be touched. I've travelled enough to know... More

We Stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful haunted castle. Staff is very friendly. The food in the restaurant and in the bar was very good. We did the ghost tour with Graham and it was very interesting and fun! We also very much enjoyed the bar and Rodney was very helpful... we laughed a lot! My wife is conviced... More

I've always wanted to stay in a castle and Tulloch was reasonably-priced. It's a lovely hotel with a lot of history and charm (bonus points for the evening ghost tour). Despite being short-staffed, the service was impeccable. They really go out of their way to make your stay great. We arrived late and they held the ghost tour for us... More

I was ecstatic to get to stay at Tulloch. It is my clansmen's history, the Davidsons. We are a very proud people and to be able to stay where my ancestors help form our history was to say the least overwhelming. Yes there are things that maybe need fixing. It's old folks, it's a castle. I loved the staff, the... More

The exterior and lobby were really great and what you'd hope to find in an old castle but the guest rooms were just OK. The chairs in the room had rips in the fabric. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling and the shower water was warm at best. Rodney was the rockstar employee. After checking us in he brought our bags... More

Tulloch is a beautiful old castle w/ loads of history. The interior felt more like an old home than a hotel. Staff was few in number but very helpful and friendly Rodney and Ross each gave us tours of the castle and it's ghosts, at night. A highlight for all of us!! The food was good and the rooms were... Beautiful exterior, loads of history but quirky interior that could use some re-designing. Service: Very friendly. Bare bones though, one person at front desk, one in bar and one in restaurant. Rooms: Expensive for quality. We got upgrade from basic and it was still pretty basic (just bigger). If you stay here you might want to upgrade on the 3... More
