The Castle is a beautiful, relaxing place to spend a couple of days, steeped in history. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, food was excellent, rooms were large and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for anything more ...

The first room had mold around the bath tub and peeling paper on the ceilings and walls. The second room was much the same, the third room was a little better but I was unable to get the shower working. The staff were friendly enough and the free ghost tour was informative, revealing some great rooms upstairs that were steeped... More

Everything was way above our expectations. The front office staff could not have been more helpful, as we had trouble with one of our cards they sorted it all out. Dinner at night was great but the breakfast the next morning was superior to any other hotel breakfast we had in our 3 weeks of travelling all over Scotland.

This hotel is in old scottish castle and there are numerous reports on ghost encounters (we were probably too tired and slept too hard :-). Despite beeing old, rooms are nice and amenities modern. Little evening castle tour with ghost stories was very entertaining and our host Graham was very charming.

I recently hiked the Great Glen Way in Scotland and as a final dinner to celebrate our successful completion of the 117 km walk, we ate at Tulloch Castle in Dingwall; 20 min outside Inverness. The restaurant is in a castle, turned hotel, that hosts lots of large groups and weddings (because it is such a unique setting). The bartender... More

I had always wanted to spend the night in a castle and Tulloch Castle was a great place to do so. It was an authentic 12th century castle. The rooms were large with decent bathrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable. The Green Lady Bar had some of the best food we ate during our two weeks exploring Scotland. The breakfast... More

Wanted to spend a couple nights here as part of a trip to hubby's roots, so were tickled by the Davidson museum and gravesite on the grounds. Room and common areas were immaculate and staff were happy to talk about and show us around parts of the castle we didn't know about. Absolutely loved it

Wanted to spend a night in a castle and we were not disappointed especially when our girls (30 and 34 years) were given the "room with the BOO" No visit from the Woman in Green. She must have been having a night off! 3 long flights to our room but we were helped with our luggage. Cosy rooms with well appointed... More

This is my ancestral castle. After much research, we decide to stay here not knowing the ghost stories. The hotels staff is wonderful. Accommodating, and only let you in on the fun if it's your sort of thing. Nothing seemed malicious. This turned out to be our kind of thing. We took the ghost tour and had such a great... More
