We are a family of 4 who stayed in the apartment which was huge - 2 ensuite bedrooms and living area. Only downside was having to walk through the restaurant with our dog every time we took him out as it was the only access - definitely quirky. We spent the visit mentally re-decorating and updating it as it felt... More

The building is beautiful and the inside has old world charm. There are a LOT of stairs to the rooms and no lift which is tough with so many suitcases. The rooms were large and wifi wasn't a problem. The food at the restaurant wasn't very good at all and the staff were unusual. We did the ghost tour and... More

Really loved my stay!!! I'm a RitzCarlton type of girl and thought it might be a little rustic for me but my room was large, the bed was comfy and the food and amenities were lovely. Best of all was the amazing staff. The ghost/ historical tours by both Russ and Rodney are not to be missed. Their passion and... More

We stopped over here on our motorcycle you'd of the north of Scotland. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Bar food and drink good and reasonably priced rooms were a bit tired but clean and comfy beds. Breakfast good. Only downside I feel it's a little expensive

We stayed in room 19, it was very nice and spacious. I hope they didn't pay much for the wallpapering job, though! 😉 Received a late night tour from Ross, it was very interesting! Restaurant was good. Beautiful countryside to wander around if you have the time.

The staff here are great - very accommodating and helpful. The barman doubled as table server in the bar and was fantastic. Food was great and the Pimms was made with mint straight from their garden. He recommended food to try which were excellent choices. The man on reception when we arrived insisted on taking our heavy cases up two... More

We wanted to stay a night in a castle on our trip and Tulloch did not disappoint. You get what you might expect here, lots of history, and fun facts. Take the time to do the night time tour so you will know a bit more about the place.

Ok, this hotel is an old castle, so everything is old. Wall paper comes off on one or two spots, some windows won't move easily, heating has no thermostat, and so forth. It's completely up to you how you feel about this. Is it outworn, shabby, defective, washed-out? Not to us! We truly loved the true unvarnished vintage atmo of... More

We had a two-night stay booked as a surprise for my Mum's 60th birthday as she really enjoys looking round castles & we thought she would love this - we were not wrong!! The staff were brilliant at helping us with the surprise and were very helpful and pleasant all weekend. The food was great, the bar well-stocked with a... More
