Shame that this nice village pub and restaurant doesn't allow dogs in, even in the bar area. The staff are very nice as is the managers wife. However when my partner complained that the sparkling wine was flat the managers actually poured himself self some...More

Olde worlde country pub about 5 miles from centre of Bath. The bar is very pleasant, with a very good menu and good selection of wines and cask ales. Breakfast was good too. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed midweek and...More

Waterhouse have sent us many dinners over the past years.

The hotel is approximately 30 mins walk from centre of Bath. It is on a very narrow country lane / road and whilst perfectly safe to walk to and from, i would advise using public transport to accessi the city centre. This aside, I would greatly recommend the hotel, it has bags of charm, great food and staff, and very comfortable rooms.
