This hotel was booked as part of a package of accommodations for my Camino walk (Via de la Plata, rather than the more popular Camino route that starts in the Pyrennes). I arrived late in the evening and the hotel reception guy was pleasant and efficient in checking me in. The room itself was a bit dated - the fit... More

We stayed one night here before continuing on the Camino del Norte. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the old town and the cathedral. Rooms are fine, staff are pleasant. Breakfast is basic but all you need.

We stayed here for one night recently and found it ideally placed. We had a very nice room which, despite being on a city street was quiet. The rooms had every facility and were immaculate. The breakfast was very good with meats, cheese etc. It is just a short walk from the main square and churches, and the thermal baths.... More

Hotels in general in Ourense do not seem to be perfectly central for tourism but location was satisfactory and it was only a one night stay. Our election was based on location and price and the hotel surpassed my expectations with regard to price/quality. Perfectly comfortable reformed room. I asked in reception for a smokers' room but was advised that... More

An unpretentious very good hotel within walking distance of the city center. The receptionist was very accommodating and maintained our reservation even arriving late at night. The room was pleasant with a large, very clean bathroom. A great price/value hotel, very suitable for short stays.

The Princess Hotel has been newly renovated and the rooms spacious. The reception we received was very friendly and the Cafeteria very good. The hotel introduced a system of saving power which we found a very good idea. We can recommend this hotel unreservedly.

We arrived late in the afternoon, and were sent there by another hotel, and told it was a 4-star (and it was identified as such also). This is one of the worst 4-star hotels I have stayed in. The woman at the reception desk was brusk and rude for no reason (we are bilingual, and were with some Spanish cousins,... More

I visited as part of a music festival being held in the cathedral. This was very central to shops and sites. The jacuzzi did not work too well but there were an extraordinary amount of freebies in the bathroom! The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice. Parking was underground with a bit of a trek to the hotel with... More

The hotel room is quite standard, not fancy but comfortable. Only problem we have is the parking. When we book this hotel, it was stated that parking is available for a fee. When we arrived, we were told that the parking spaces reserved by the hotel were all full. We could park in the same garage but pay 50% more,... More

By American standards, this isn't a fancy hotel, But it was clean, comfortable, and safe, and it was perfect for a group of American pilgrims starting out to walk the last 120 km. of the Camino de Santiago. We spent two nights there, and the breakfasts were really good (buffet): a wide variety and plenty of it. They also had... More
