At first we were we were expecting a road side hotel but found a real gem. The hotel staff was the very best, friendly, helpful and courteous. The restaurant was a real surprise, a cafeteria with a chef that will custom make dished for you at a very reasonable price. Separately there is a full bar. We stayed in a... More

Arrived late afternoon in Santander, this hotel is very convenient for an overnight stay. It's clean comfortable and reasonably quiet. The meals are buffet style and are ok but only ok. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

We booked and stayed in one of their apartments when we attended the Rallye Festival Trasmiera. The apartment was fantastic with a double bedroom, a smaller bedroom with a single bed that converted into a double, a small living room with a sofa that doubled as another bed and a small kitchenette with a fridge, sink, cooker, washing machine and... Arrived and checked in without any problems. The staff are very friendly although the majority of them speak poor English but it was a lot better than my attempts at Spanish which they did seem to appreciate you having a go. The food that i had was average but the buffet does come with as much wine as your wanted... More

I'll start with the only thing i liked: freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast and general selection at breakfast. I did not like, small double bed even though room has space for a larger one, intermittently blocked sink in bathroom, massage shower with no power, no way to fill the bath tub except with the shower head - very slow,... Location in Hoznayo village. Unfortunately it is next to farm with manure smell and a barking dog at 7am in the morning. However, hotel is reasonable size and the room we had was also reasonably sized although in the loft area. The spa is good and is free to hotel guests. The food is terrible and so don't eat there.... Could not fault this fabulous spa hotel. The spa has three pools and 4 Jacuzzis. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Pretty setting. Dinner was buffet for €16 with help yourself wine included. They were also cooking meat and fish if wanted. Excellent. Near Santander port so ideal for arriving on evening sailing. Very friendly staff and secure parking

Lovely hotel of a very high standard of decor and comfort. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful - especially restraunt staff. Access to the full ameneties of the spa were a valued bonus and on most visits relatively empty (never more than three other people for the entirity of stay) - breakfast ample and most agreeably taken on terrace - no-rush... I've recently hosted in this 4 stars hotel. It is a real 4 star hotel, according to spanish standars, this is -if you have been and compared-, cheaper and better than usual french or italian 4 stars hotels quality. It is located in Hoznayo, a rural neighbourhood of Entrambasaguas village (4 km from Solares). 15 minutes from Santander or 45... More
