We have just returned from a week away at this lovely hotel. We are all sad to leave. Food- We ate at the pool bar buffet during lunch as our kids were obsessed with the hot dogs. We had breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant which was always nice. As a vegetarian with an allergy I'm not the easiest customer but always found something. Although It would have been a lot easier if there were signs indicating allergens. We ate at the italian and asian restaurants two nights. The asian was brilliant. The Italian was ok. Maybe a spanish tapas restaurant would have been better. The drinks were amazing! We had our room fridge re-stocked every day with soft drinks. The bars served beautifully presented and tasting cocktails and other drinks. Rooms- everything we needed and really clean. The beds were really comfortable. We had a travel cot for a baby too which was good quality. The bathroom was great with 2 sinks, powerful shower and bath. Service was Amazing! Everyone working here was so friendly and lovely. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The reception staff were always helpful. The waiting staff were kind and friendly. The entertainment team were brilliant with the kids. The spa staff were professional and I recieved a wonderful facial tretment. We didn't do many activities because we went during term time and there weren't many other kids. The swimming pools were fantastic. Something for everyone. Small shallow baby pool, splash Park, lazy river and two deeper pools in the middle. Quite cold but refreshing in the hot weather. The sunbeds do get snapped up really early but there's enough to go around. We enjoyed the large beds at the back as they had curtains to give the kids some shade when they wanted a nap. The park was small and basic but enough to entertain a toddler for a few minutes. The sandpit could do with some more sand. The beach was on the doorstep and quiet. If you walk down further there are boats to hire. We took a taxi one day to the castle nearby which cost €7. This was a nice midweek trip out. We walked back which took about an hour and looked at the shops nearby to pick up souvenirs for the kids. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing week away.…
This is one of the best hotels we have ever found. The cleanliness is outstanding and the staff work around the clock to maintain this 5 star hotel and we see the same staff year after year!. From the moment you arrive the staff are on hand to help with luggage etc. The food is fantastic with an outstanding choice all day and every night accompanied with theme night, kid menu, and cook stations, You will not go hungry here! Kid club is fantastic with the mini disco every night and exciting things for your children throughout the day including shooting, archery and pool activities. Entertainment every night after the mini disco inc some fantastic bands, singers and magic shows. Don't pack beach towels just pay the 15 euro deposit for each towel and you can refresh them 3 times a week. Never had an issue with the free Wi-Fi and all rooms have aircon and maid service every day. It is truly all inclusive 24/7…
This was our 9th visit to the hotel and after missing the last 2 years due to the Covid pandemic we wondered whether things would be different but from stepping out of the taxi into reception it felt like we had never been away. Very friendly welcome from reception and once again they had accommodated us in our requested room area. Manilo Paco and Olga, all of whom we have known since our first visit greeted us with open arms and it was such a joy to see them again The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none and every member of staff is friendly and helpful. A special mention to Mirander at the pool bar who only started this year but she will be great asset to the team with her personality. We are already planning our visit for next year but would request that the animation team dispense with the karaoke night as it is not needed in a five star hotel…
We returned to this hotel after 5 years (3 due to lockdown) because the whole family had so enjoyed our first stay. The hotel was extremely and exactly as we remembered indeed it had improved which we did not think would have been possible. The entire staff at ALL levels excelled themselves to ensure everyone had the very best experience. I can honestly say that it was impossible to name any one member who excelled more than the other because they ALL excelled. The entertainments team were all incredible in particular Roxie and Leandro who gave my grandchildren the very best holiday ever. The pool bar staff and chefs gave a fantastic service and nothing was too much trouble. All the restaurants gave excellent service and quality of food. As previously stated this is the very best of hotels.…
Just returned home after my third stay at this hotel with friends. I stayed here in 2017 and 2019 and wrote a glowing review for each of those previous stays although I couldn’t write them without complaining about something which I duly did. First, I complained about the fact I had to wear long trousers at dinner and questioned why in this age of equality men were effectively discriminated against when compared with some of the outfits worn by the ladies. I realise that this was not unique to this hotel but still felt it was ridiculous. Second, I complained about the amount of single use plastic being consumed. Cups, plates, and straws. It was horrific although again this wasn’t limited to this hotel. You can only imagine my surprise and delight when on this trip I found that all plastic had been replaced by paper cups, straws, and plates and finally I could go to dinner in shorts. So, you see I must begrudgingly admit that I found nothing whatsoever to whinge about during my stay here in fact I found the hotel even better than the two previous occasions in every respect. Food was fantastic room was lovely bar and general facilities wonderful. The staff and management make this hotel, and this is reflected wherever you go. Other comments The beer is Estrella which despite really trying I just can’t stomach. I know there are a lot of people who like it but if like me you don’t like it and you aren’t psychologically constrained by the fact you have paid for All Inclusive then turn right as you leave the hotel entrance, walk 100 meters and you will find a bar serving ice cold Mahou at Euro 2.70 per pint. I’m told that their cocktails are great too! The rest of the Bar offerings are great with both international and local brands on offer. Food is excellent. There is the Buffet restaurant a snack area and two bookable themed restaurants. I have no idea what the themed restaurants are like as despite this being my third visit here, I still haven’t bothered to try them as I found the buffet food to be that good! The standard rooms are very nice and plenty big enough for two. We stayed in one of the Whirlpool equipped junior suites back in 2017 but as I said then we only used the Whirlpool twice and only because we had paid for it. Maybe if you are a family then the extra space is useful otherwise unless you really love the Whirlpool bath concept save your money and stay in a standard room. Finally This is a fantastic hotel and probably the best I have stayed in within Europe in terms of both value and standard. If you are looking for a relaxing break with or without children, then this is the place for you. If you are looking for things to do within the immediate vicinity of the hotel including night life, then you will probably be disappointed.…
Simply put, there is nothing to complain about with this expertly run hotel. We have returned home fully refreshed after a very much needed holiday. Hotel, rooms, and surrounding areas were very clean, the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing which made for a fantastic holiday. Food and drinks all to a great quality. All the staff that we encountered was very polite and helpful, a few went above and beyond. On reception Laura B, superb, fantastic customer service in finding a solution to a TUI booking error, thank you Laura B. The bar areas were expertly run and supervised by Manilo, an absolute kind gentleman, nothing was too much for him. In the main restaurant Oliver deserves a mention too, serving us with a high degree of professionalism and good humour (looking after the ’Jefa’! Thank you Protur Roquetas da Mar, We would certainly be returning.…
Located on seafront, gate straight onto prom. Staff were all lovely, nothing was to much trouble. Food was good especially the two restaurants La Sal and Asis, no extra charge but booking essential. Pool area includes a lazy river. Everywhere was spotless, staff never stop cleaning.. Rooms were spacious as were bathrooms. Evening entertainment good.
Our family group of 13 has just returned from a weeks stay at the Protur Roquetas. We all had the most fantastic time. The food was varied, high quality and delicious. We had a meal at the Italian a’la carte which was a lovely treat. Every member of staff was attentive, friendly and helpful, they all go above and beyond for their guests and are a credit to the hotel. The rooms are impeccably clean and of a high standard. There really is something for everyone at this hotel. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
We have just returned from a weeks holiday, and had a really lovely time. The hotel was beautiful, and everything was lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and super helpful, from the receptionists, the waiting staff and the childrens entertainers. My 6 year old daughter loved the pools and the entertainment and also had a great holiday. The food was lovely, and plenty of choice for every meal. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend. Thank you for a fantastic week.
The staff couldn't do anymore for us, had great banter, very friendly. If you enjoy relaxing and doing nothing all day for great value you've come to the right place (as the main town is an hour away but there is a little row of shops and bars nearby)
