Very friendly staff apart from the restaurant manager who was incredibly rude throughout the evening and into the next morning. Facilities looked good around the hotel but the nasty restaurant manager ruined our stay. Such a shame. Definitely will not return.
2nd time here, so good if you have to use a wheelchair to get around, apartment cant be faulted, cleaned room every day, loads of choice of food, freshly cooked omlettes while yiu wait, fantastic staff on reception, I love this place! Lots to see and do around the hotel, even the road train, although it is mainly a residential tour, so nice to see all the different houses, so close to bars and resturants, shops etc, all accessible, hotel does get full at weekends with loud spanish families, but all makes an interesting time. The hotel is spotless, pool area is massive, however I do not think this resort is good for small children.
My husband and I had a 3 night break in a one bedroomed apartment in the Neptuno Hotel last week and had a very enjoyable, relaxing time. The apartment was very spacious, very clean and the bedroom came equipped with 2 comfortable double beds. We were on the 5th floor and had a terrace overlooking the huge outdoor pool. There is also a covered indoor pool which we didn't use on this visit. All the staff in the hotel were extremely pleasant and courteous. The dining room staff were exceptional, the dining room manager well organised, the waiting staff quick to clear tables, take and bring drinks orders or wine and reset tables immediately they were vacated. The food was buffet style although there was a chef doing omelettes etc to order for breakfast and also grilling different meats and fish in the evening. The food was varied and the hot plate was constantly refilled with trays of food before they became empty. The house wine was very palatable and cost 10 euros a bottle. The hotel is a 5 minute stroll to the beach and promenade which stretches for miles and is all on the level. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity although during the winter months some of them are closed for the season. The hotel was busy but not crowded and everyone appeared to be having a lovely time. We would definitely return for a short break at this time of the year for 3 or 4 nights.…
After reading the reviews I was very skeptical about staying here with my family. I requested a high floor pool/sea view and we got what was asked for. We stayed in a 1 Bedroom Apartment on the 6th floor. The apartment was very clean and just what we needed as only sleeping in it. All the staff where very helpful, friendly and most spoke very good English especially on reception. We went on Half Board basis and I have to say the only thing letting this hotel down is the food. I know it caters for the Spanish but I live here in Spain and eat Spanish food but it was still a let down. We decided to have Breakfast & Lunch as the evening meal on our first night was so disappointing and have to say Lunch was the best meal of the day (think you have less expectations at lunch time). The evening entertainment was totally Spanish but we decided to venture out every evening. The pool area was very clean and kids really enjoyed their days swimming and going down the slide, but new sunbeds are required. So if you just want a cheap base to go out and enjoy the surrounding area and resort itself then this hotel is a good choice as 5 minutes walk to beach and main shops and restaurants. If you are looking for a typical 4 star Hotel with all the extras then this hotel is not for you…
Enjoyed our stay here 3rd too the 10th October. Food good .I like trying different country's foods try rabbit you might like it.us british are lazy we expect every thing to be in English do you see a menu in a cafe in this country in Spanish unless it is in a Spanish restaurant I don't think so.try a few phrases of Spanish there's always Google translate. Can't fault staff all round from reception to maid's to meal time staff big thanks to pepe. For the price we paid well worth it would go again in a heart beat.great for getting about buses cheap as chips and easy to find. As a whole great place to stop nice walks either way on the beach front benches to sit at but with the heat we had shame there was not more in the shade us british are not used to that much sun.
My boyfriend and I are half way through our holiday here and it's fantastic, the room is large, we have a balcony with a fantastic view of the pool. We have ate and drank a little bit here and has been good everytime. The staff are friendly and there is always someone that speaks english on duty. The pool is big, very clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. The room decor is the same as every other hotel I have visited out here and the weather is too beautiful here to stay in the room and worry about whether the decor is updated or not. They have entertainment on at night which is mostly in spanish. For anyone complaining about this maybe go to butlins instead, its spain of course they speak spanish??? On my birthday they came to the room with a complimentary bottle of prosecco and a happy birthday note which was absolutely amazing. I'm having a fantastic holiday and would definitely choose this hotel again. On a side note about roquetas (not the hotel): The weather is beautiful, at certain times of year there is a few flies which can be deterred simply by some fly spray (don't let this put you off). There is plenty to do, see and eat here. …
We visited Hotel Neptuno for a relaxing break we hotel is very clean the pool and pool area is thoroughly cleaned every day we found all the staff very friendly we where self catering so did not eat in the restaurant, e had a drink at the bar in the evening which was very nick and generous portions of drinks. The hotel is a short walk to the beach where you can walk for miles I would recommend the beach area it is really stunning with lots of restaurants to eat or just have a drink. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning thanks to the staff for a peaceful relaxing stay.
Just got back from a holiday in the hotel neptuno The hotel was good Reception staff were very friendly and helpful & the rooms were cleaned daily The pool area was good and clean The only fault was the restaurant the food was only warm at the best & was mainly geared towards the Spanish but still reasonable My wife and I enjoyed our stay
We stayed in double rooms in the Neptuno 2 weeks ago. The hotel was lovely, food good and staff on the whole friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was cleaned thoroughly every day. Good Location very close to the beach and local restaurants and bars. We would definitely return. Have stayed elsewhere on previous visits but found this hotel the best for us.
This was our third visit to the Neptuno Aparthotel. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The rooms had air conditioning and were very spacious. The kitchette was fine but we didn't do any cooking because we went half board. So only a snack at lunchtime. The rooms were very clean and the cleaning lady came most days. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful (they work so hard). Meals are buffet style with a wide choice. Show cooking was available and the food was of a high standard. Breakfast was great - again with lots of choice to suit most people. The swimming pool is large with two small slides. A life guard was always on duty. The animation team provide entertainment (aqua aerobics) and also evening entertainment which is mainly for children. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the beach and halfway to the beach is a very adequate Spa Supermarket. There are numerous restaurants and bars all of which are within easy walking distance. The Neptuno is a lovely hotel and is also extremely good value. British visitors should note the the clientel is overwhelmingly Spanish so if you want to strike up a conversation at the pool side then you going to need some Spanish. Likewise the entertainment is in Spanish so young english speaking children might feel a little left out. However everyone is very friendly and polite. We had requested a specific room which we had stayed in on a previous stay and were delighted to find that we got the room we asked for. Thank you very much to the reception staff who made this possible. To sum up, this hotel ticks all the boxes for those wishing for a great value comfortable hoilday .…
