There are plenty of bars and restaurants and quite a few shops close by, if you need groceries etc then there is a well stocked busy Spar just a stones throw from the hotel. For a drink check out 'Scotia' , for food...didn't eat out an awful lot but the Raku restaurant was good. if you want some fun go down to the beach and bare right, hire a big double jet ski from a very cool lady who speaks good English, it was great fun! The prom is massive and has a brilliant cycle path, hire a bike and go to the castle, there are some good restaurants on the other side of the harbour. If you want big shops then get a taxi (about 9 euros) to the grand plaza, good food hall there as well. There are always taxis outside so getting back easily shouldn't be a problem. The taxis were always super efficient, clean and fair. The hotel will always call you a cab whenever you want. Hope that helps
