Just come back from a week away and we have the holiday blues already. I was a bit sceptical at first after reading some of the reviews on here but the holiday is what u make it. The Hotel is very clean and rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels every day too. Always staff around maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel and changing outdoor bins 4-5 times a day from when we were in the hotel. Kids club was amazing. My 6 year old daughter Emmy loved it ans made a good friend while being there. She also took a liking to one of the animation team called desi who loved Emmy and even gave her a lovely touching message at end of our stay saying she will miss her and loved having her around. They all knew her name after the first day. Lots for them to do although there was a lot of spainish and not a lot of English but that didn’t bother my daughter at all. Gym was amazing for my other half who thought it was the best one we been too yet of all the holidays abroad, the gym instructor was very polite and very knowledgeable in his work. Food was your usual standard holiday food. Lots of variety but same most days. Thought with our daughter we would struggle but she ate lots and had lots of ice cream too. Plenty to eat all through the day never left hungry with many snack bars around. Only cons are that the flys around pool were a pain in ass but not to be helped, pool was freezing apart from kids pool but ok when your in. Not much to do around the area and the beach is pebbles which hurts your feet. But apart from that the holiday was amazing. Sea views are lovely and right on beach. Nice walk up and down the stretch. Thanks for having us ! ! Lots of memories made x…
Before travelling on our family/friends/couple holiday I saw a lot of negative reviews which unfortunately don't help the next traveller. Hopefully my review will, as we had a great time. The hotel is a 4* hotel based on facilities and it definitely matches this! especially for food, with 3 soon to be 4 a la carte restaurants, 2 buffet and 3 snack bars there is 100% something to eat for everyone. The down side is that the main restaurants don't open until 8pm, however the snack bars are open until 6.30pm so if taking kids fill them up before going to get ready for evening. TUI customers currently get 1 x Greek 1 x Italian 1 x Med a la carte included for each week booked. The hotel is not in busy area or resort centre which is clearly advertised but is easily accessible via beach front which is around a 15 min walk (even with buggies) There are lovely shops, restaurants, bars and a mini theme park for kids which is great! There is also souvenir shop and mini supermarket just over the road from the hotel if you don't want to leave but need anything. The beach is shingle and to be honest not my cup if tea but it has plenty of little parks on, its clean and with correct foot wear would still be nice day out. It also had a massage hut which I would definitely recommend 👌 Entertainment was a sore point to start with for me but didn't stop us enjoying our time in the end. The kids '6' Spanish mini disco songs didn't start until roughly 9.30pm and then a magic show or singer on afterwards. As we was a group our kids played together, if this wasn't the case my daughter (3) would of been very tired and missed most of what was going on. Pools are amazing, large pool with kids small/mid size slides and splash park (Zoraida Park) and Large adult pool with kids pool attached (Zoraida Garden) both were clean majority of time and could get beds most the day. There is also a lot of quieter areas dotted in between hotels for people not wanting the madness. Aqua aerobics everyday, very loud but very popular lol Rooms have 2 king size beds - very comfy (not sure what other people have slept in) views are roadside, park poolside/sea view or garden poolside/sea view. Very clean actually spotless including the rest of the hotel. Fridge and safe in the room but deposit required for safe. If taking a cot they charge 4 euros a day which I feel is awful so I took my own (included in infants 2 extra piece of luggage) All Inclusive - premium brand drinks not necessary at all, local brands are great equivalents and available 10am-12pm - Amazing for kids is ice creams, crisps, cakes, milkshakes available all day. Lots to say, great place would definitely return just feel the British need to be catered for a little more as I feel all timings are based around them.…
The hotel is nice, it's clean inside. I was worried about the beds being hard after reading reviews but they are fine. Outside the cleaners don't move the sunbeds so any gross people that leave rubbish, (a tissue covered in blood one day!) underneath them gets left. Basically it's OK but there is just nothing around. Every day is the same. The area is deserted and unfriendly, there are no cafes or restaurants around unless you walk for 30 mins which is fine unless it's 35 degrees and you have children with you. The sea is unsafe to play in due to a steep drop so you can't go in the water which was incredibly disappointing. The week was alright but I would never go back and I'm a bit sad my daughters first holiday was this - it's put her off going anywhere abroad again!
First of all, be warned the beach is SHINGLE! If you are after a sandy beach then avoid this area. It resembles cat litter. We were very disappointed and this should have been stated in the description The sea goes very deep very quickly so not really suitable for small kids. This is a very Spanish resort, not much English spoken. The staff are OK but not massively cheerful. The rooms were lovely and clean, the whole hotel was immaculate. You won't get all the " all inclusive " if you go with On The Beach, you have to pay extra when you get to the hotel, which also wasn't stated and is unfair. The buffet is ok, some of it was to be honest, rank! The entertainment starts at 10 pm, very late. The pools were very good though, the lagoon is brilliant for little ones. The slides were also fun. They are salt water and a bit cold to start with. …
We flew with TUI on a Sunday. Check in took quite a while as they’re was quite a few new arrivals. All staff were welcoming, our rooms were cleaned every day. There are plenty of sun beds to use for both pools. The buffet food has a great choice, different each day with pizza and pasta available daily for children. Breakfast could do with a surprise instead of the same but it did it’s job and was delicious. The Other restaurants are a great addition (ASIA wasnt open due to the time of year) our favourite was the Italian restaurant the portions were HUGE and we learnt quickly for my two children to share when eating in the restaurants. The Olivio (steak) restaurant the food was perfectly done and very fast coming out. The Mediterranean restaurant had a good variety of food. All staff were fantastic and we booked in easily for each the day before. The night time entertainment changed each night with the mini disco on before. We could choose cocktails with all inclusive and their is waiters available to take your drinks order when it’s busy. I’ve read reviews previously and after visiting myself we were very happy with everything, we had a great stay and don’t have one complaint. The hotel is run well and the staff are constantly cleaning and busy at work.…
I really appreciated these reviews before I booked my holiday so thought I’d return the favour. Positives - perfect kids pool, great slides, life guides always on and very attentive, great selection of food and drinks that are always available in the snack bars or main restaurant, extra restaurants for a chance of selection, kid entertainment (although quite late and only half an hour), friendly staff, water fountains around the hotel, help yourself ice cream in snack bars (important with a 2yr old), around 30 min transfer from airport, beach is through a door (very handy) Negatives - pool is salt water so quite cold, rooms are small (we had 2yr old and 7 month old plus me and husband in one room), there’s a fridge in the room but it’s not stocked, no kettle in room (had to game travel kettle for baby milk), no water in the room (no water bottles - had to buy bottles and refill on the fountains), have to pay for cot and use of safe in the room (very strange as it already in the room), beach is peddles/crushed shells so need shoes at all times, nothing really around it (good for us but not for everyone) Our first holiday with kids and it was perfect for us…
I stayed at this hotel with a mixture of adults, kids and a toddler. Ages ranging from late 60s to a 13month old. We all had a great time. The kids had loads of fun in the pools and enjoyed the slides in the kids pool. The adults had fun on the big slides. There are rules regarding the pools such as no big inflatables or balls. The kids were allowed small rings as swimming aids. You are not allowed to drink whilst in or sitting around the pool sides. Water guns were also only allowed in kids pool. There are signs with this information on. Also lifeguards monitor around the pools and slides to make sure everyone's safe. Whether you agree with the rules or not they are just doing their jobs. On some occasions there were gunk in the corners of the pools, but that's most likely sun cream and the lifeguards cleaned it when they did checks which was often Rooms were clean and modern. We had front of hotel facing rooms. Would have preferred a sea view, but was happy with what we got, as we were all put near eachother and had bigger balconies. We stuck to the main restaurant for meals instead of using the a la carte restaurants. Food choices were good, but food does go cold very quickly even under hot plates. Also, the second week we noticed an increase of flies everywhere. Food needs covering in the restaurant and snack bars to prevent flies being a problem. Also we saw people picking up bread especially and then changing their minds and putting it back instead of leaving it on the sides or on their table. Day entertainment was good and the animation team were energetic and fun. Evening entertainment was good, but is the same every week. There were bands and a magic show. Mini disco did start around 9:15pm. I do think 2 people is needed for the mini disco to keep the flow and prevent stop and start. That is just an observation and not criticism, as I think they do a great job. They dress up as superheroes and the kids like it. All the staff we encountered were all friendly and had a smile on their face especially the bar staff. Overall we had a pleasant stay and all enjoyed ourselves. We would visit this hotel again.…
Flies on food throughout the dining room. Chef dropped pieces of pork on the floor then put it on the griddle. Hair in cake. Food is always cold so be prepared to warm it up in the microwave before eating. But the best of all was vomit in the pool and the lifeguard assured us that it was salad cream before leaving it ten minutes and then scooping it out. No wonder we experienced sickness and upset stomachs. We ate out after the third day and found some lovely restaurants within walking distance. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.
Returned home today after 10 days holiday as a family of two boys 11 and 9 and my husband. First of all I have to say the security/ life guards/ cleaning staff are paramount 24hrs a day. Felt very happy with all of these services. The pools are salt water and cold for even the hardened person but clean and well maintained. The entertainment staff are enthusiastic and courteous with all holiday makers .Fabian was exceptionally good at his job, and a credit to the hotel. The food for my very picky 9 year old was out of his comfort zone but that was due to him. They try to cater for all nationalities and the food in the snack bars(Mediterranean) is replenished frequently with assorted food. The staff are very polite and accommodating. My 11 year old son spent the majority of his stay on the football pitch which is his passion, there were times when altercation occurred at the football pitch between English and Spanish under 16 which as suggestion could benefit by been staffed, as when issues arose, the security staff were more reactive to what the Spanish were saying due to a language barrier. This just could have been isolated incident but worth mentioning. This did not at all ruin our holiday in any way at all but something to be aware of. On a negative the beds are very hard and the rooms are small for a family of four but not be fair we only sleep in them as there is so much to do. My kids had a fantastic time, made friends and I felt comfortable with them exploring the hotel by them selves. There is nothing at all to be worried about visiting this hotel unless you have unrealistic expectations. I would happily recommend this to family and friends if they are looking for a family al holidays Another thing to be aware of is the lifts do stop quite regularly but they do start.…
We arrived to this hotel on the 26th of may 2022. The Hotel is lovely, Clean and Friendly. Check in was smooth, We were in room 574 and it was lovely, Not exactly a big room but we only went in the room to change or sleep.
