Guesthouse Smogavc is small family-runned business with 30-year tradition, which covers guesthouse with cosy accommodations, restaurant with local and seasonal culinary and small farm with farm-stay, farm animal breeding, garden, greenhouse and orchards. You are welcom to feel the green Pohorje hills, explore hidden paths with our e-bikes, find peaceful places to have picknick with basket, full of home-grown products, relax in unique sauna in wooden cottage or just breath the fresh highlands air. We cherish local tradition and seasonal products and host you with love. In our kitchen we use a lot of local products and products from our farm. Enjoy the nature and feel at home at our place.
I was there with my husband who got a Zvezdar gift coupon Sanjski oddih v dvoje from our son and after the welcome aperitifs we were delighted with the excellent, tasty dinner, including mushroom soup, pork and cheese struklji with vegetables and mixed salad, topped with cottage-blueberry strudl. The room with master bed was huge and well heated, the bathroom was completely new and well equipped, the tv set had a subscription to many channels so that in the evening we could chose from among many available movies. Although that day was raining we made a nice walk through the village and visited the church of Sv. Kunigunda where a friendly pastor showed us around and explained everything. Next morning we had a rich self-service breakfast with which we fed ourselves abundantly. We said goodbye to the amiable Smogavc family and promised to come back in spring to have a tour at the nearby Treetop Walk with observation tower which we missed this time because of the fog. I almost forgot to to praise the owner for allowing us to charge our electric car.

The room was clean and nicely furnished. It was also greatly heated. The staff were all very friendly. Room also had small balcony which had amazing view. View is also great from the parking lot and outside. There is also plenty of room for parking.

I am a regular at this place. This summer I took here my friends as well. While staying here we decided to discover also the surroundings. Cycling with their e-bikes, organised tastings and adventures treasure hunting .....Its been amazing..thanks to the family Smogavc and their stuff. Definitely coming back next year

The food was good, traditional Slovenian cuisine. Mushroom soup and blueberry pie were my favorite. They truly made us feel welcome. Beautiful view and quiet nature are great for a walk after lunch. I recommend.

We eat best muschrooms soup ever. The Plate for two was also very good, tradicional slovenian food. Service was good and ambient tradicional and sweet. I had very nice time here. It is far and road is not so good but it was worthed.

We choose Guesthouse Smogavc among many guesthouses and tourist farms: absolutely good choice. Nevertheless we dropped by just unplanned, staff didin't complicated much. Right away we got dinner and room; relaxed and pleasant atmosphere with a pinch of homeliness.
We recommend it. Especially in sunny weather when panoramic view over nearby hillls is wonderful :).

Food were very good. Waiters are very kind and compliant. But one of waiters are very confused. He brings me food, which we don't order. And he bring me a bill in advertisement paper, not in special book, like elsewhere. Ok, I give money in adversiment paper, and he ask me where is money? :D I say him : "Money is on same place, like bill". He take money, go away with money and bill. He take money and leave bill on other table,
Ok... Food was very good and portion are realy big. Mushroom soup is realy GOOD! Perfect! You must eat this. Place is very nice - pure nature !

If you are planing or going on the trip around/to Rogla, it's a must to take a visit at this restaurant. They offer a house made and traditional Slovenian food. They also have a big offer of steaks. Their well known "blueberry desert" it's amazing.

Always when I go to this part of Slovenija I eat in this guesthouse because all the food is very tasty, i would also like to point out that the mushroom soup is really excellent if you are near you should definetly try it.
