Detailed Reviews

Insomma modello "colonia estiva".
- prezzi alti: € 113 per una camera da letto+antibagno+bagno (piccoli), senza bidè (ma questo è "normale" per la Slovenia;
- split del clima collocato pericolosamente di fronte al letto, con il risultato di non poterlo accendere o accontentarsi del mal di schiena al mattino;
- difficoltà di reperimento del parcheggio (con struttura piena);
- prati ed aiuole non curati;
- nonostante nella prenotazione vi sia compresa la colazione, il caffè lo fanno pagare a parte € 1,50!... Mah.....;

The suite is very clean and the furniture is brand new. The bathroom is also very modern but maybe not as practical for small children. Food choiches in the hotel are a bit limited but overall very tasty. We especially enjoyed breakfast. They also have a playground near the hotel but since we were there on the off season the shops and coffee places were all closed.

We had NOTHING to complain about with the accommodation here. Everything was brand new and very clean. Minibar, telephone, TV in bedroom and living area, tea and coffee making facilities, 2 balconies with sea views. Amazing!!! That's the room taken care of....
The food in the Hotel Convent was typical buffet style that I would expect in Slovenia. The food was decent quality but I did venture out from the resort to a couple of local eateries which was a better experience (not so many kids).
Facilities at the resort are very good.
No idea why people have complained about "dirty beaches", when we were there it was fine.
Staff were always friendly and helpful.
I would definitely go back here again.

- The location was perfect with a sea view, big pine trees, and a calm atmosphere.
- The staff was very confused and made a ton of mistakes (rebooked a room during the stay; ramp to enter the property was not opening because the licenses plate was not entered in the system, happened 3 times...the reception desk didn't pick up for more than 10 min after ringing at the ramp and blocking others)
- Dirty room at check-in (spilled liquid on the door, bloodstains on the towels, dusty and dirty floor, hair in the shower, broken glass pieces under the table...) Even after the second cleaning the liquid on the door and glass pieces were still there.
- No privacy (the front door is glass with no curtain and on the opposite side of the bathroom - so no open door while on the toilet or shower as well as not being able to be naked inside the apartment)
- Food was poor and prepared very unhealthy with a lot of additives, flour, and too much oil. No gluten-free option for dinner. The staff did not know about allergens and served the wrong food to allergic people. The restaurant staff was very rude and ignorant.
- The hotel terrace was messy. The corners are filled with old furniture and fridges.
- The park around the hotel was looking abandoned. Garden canopies are just placed somehow with no fabric over them. On the floor were thousands of cigarette butts and no trash bin around.
- The tennis court was dirty filled with forgotten clothes and old tree branches...
- The 50 m road to the Suite had a big hole where every car hit the front bumper accompanied by a terrible sound. On the road were plastic bottles and old face masks that no one picked up for more than 2 weeks.
The hotel has the potential to be a 4* only with better service (staff), better (natural) food options, and way cleaner. The price does not match the expectations nor other hotels in this price group.
