After a full renovation, Sagafjord Hotel opened in July 2012. The hotel now consists of 40 rooms. The old wooden walls that are found in parts of the building, are more than 200 years old and originates from an old school house in Valdres. The "School house"- which is a separate part of the hotel, has 3 suites, 2 superior rooms and a comfortable lounge. This can be used for formal and informal meetings, dinners and conferences for small groups & companies up to 20 people. Give in to the amazing view from our restaurant area, while enjoying some refreshments from the bar or a tasting meal, or simply chill out by the fireplace in our lounge area with a good book. The conference area consists of 3 different sized meeting rooms with brand new facilities to meet today's technological requirements. The magnificent area around the hotel makes the perfect frame for a variety of activities, that we together with our partners do our best to facilitate for you.

We stayed in Sagafjord in July. This place is an ok restaurant but unbearable as a hotel. The scenery and surrounding nature is beautiful but the hotel does not live up to it's promises. We had reserved two standard full prize rooms with double/king size beds. The rooms are more

This is a nice hotel, the staff was accommodating and the views are spectacular. Our room was newly renovated overlooking the fjord so it was absolutely stunning. Very peaceful and quiet place. Recommend this hotel if you are in this area.
