Cignella Resort was born from the transformation of an old farm with more than 200 years of history. In the past it has known really flourishing periods as a farm and cattle breeding, but when the needs of the owners have changed the farm has been transformed and expanded, as you see it today, into a small village, and it has become a modern and luxurious resort between Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana, two of the most beautiful and famous valleys in the Siena's province. Without neglecting any detail and with an eye to the conservation of all the typical architectural elements of the place, the transformation of the estate began. The recovery was done using and bringing back to use the original materials, such as the roof beams, with traditional techniques to preserve their typical appearance of two centuries ago. Each accommodation overlooks a large garden that almost acts as a square, at the same time everyone has their own reserved outdoor space in which to spend moments of tranquility with loved ones.
