Tenuto il Tresto is in a beautiful location above Poggibonsi with views of the valley below and castle above. The buildings are everything I'd envisioned of a Tuscan villa and the grounds are surrounded by grape, olive and other fruit trees. The room was clean and the bathroom was spacious. The bed could have been better, the metal frame required...

Il Tresto met and exceeded my expectations for a lovely country villa in Tuscany! I definitely want to come back and spend more time exploring the surrounding area. The Il Tresto team is nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. They made us feel like "guests in their home"! Gabrio, Nicoletta, and Sophie were very gracious! The location is great if you have...

I don't know where to start. We heard about Tenuto Il Tresto from a new friend in our home town and immediately cancelled hotel reservations in Siena in order to stay in an agritourismo. I am so delighted that we made that decision. From here, we took the early train to Florence for the day and returned from the bustling...

I'm very apprehensive to write a review because we are definitely coming back to Tresto and want to be sure it doesn't get too popular!! That's how much we loved it. We stayed for 4 nights. Great location for traveling to surrounding towns. We went to Montalcino, Siena, San Gimignano, Castellina, Raddha, Greve. Gabrio the owner gave us tips on...

I cannot say enough about Tenuta Il Tresto in Poggibonsi. We had a one-week stay there with another couple. The location is withing driving distance to Florence, Sienna, Montalpulciano, Pisa, and many other places of interest. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. Every amenity is standard. Nicoletta made us feel right at home. She went above and beyond to make us...

Just returned from 7 nights staying at Tenura Il Tresto. Perfect location - easy to visit San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Volterra and Pisa from here. Some days we drove and other days we used the splendid trains from Poggibonsi. Our hosts were lovely, so welcoming, and always willing to assist. The room was very comfortable, with en suite bathroom and...

We stayed here as a one night stop of four days on a tandem across Tuscanny. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely smart character rooms, a country pool to die for and very friendly owners. Plus one of the cheapest venues en route. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights recently in July 2014. Sophie was a wonderful host! She gave us excellent recommendations. The agriturismo is very rustic. The views are wonderful, it is very quiet and relaxing. We didn't use the pool but it is very nice and looked very clean. The room was clean and we were very...

A beautiful setting, but tricky to find first up... Call for clear directions. Refurbished old building, huge character, ample breakfast , pool was delightful on hot afternoons. I love this sort of place !! Hosts were very friendly and helpful... Local wine is a must !!
