On the edge of the old town, this place is well located if you just want to stroll around the beautiful village of Pitigliano. But, this family-run hotel needs a little more welcoming vibes for its guests. The breakfast the first morning was very limited, some cereal, dried toast, one choice of cheese and ham, and cake. There was more... More

Stayed the one night in a small but Ok twin room. Second floor facing noisy tractor laden road into town. Good value but towels inexplicably look and feel like tea towels or curtains. No air conditioning as standard. Great location though. Breakfast was limited to cereal, bread cheese salami and some sort of sweet tart (??). Homemade coffee was good... More

...Very nice place 20 meters on one side from the entrance to the old city and 20 to the other to the bus station, and less than that to the steps that take you to a tranquil nature walk down below the town. Fantastic. Yes, older building but room was comfy with an incredible view of the town wall and... More

This hotel is old but reasonably serviceable. It has been run by the same family for generations. I recommend requesting a room which does not overlook the street and archway due to the passing traffic, which persists well into the early hours of morning. We visited during very hot weather and there are no air conditioning or fans. Like other... More

This is an older facility, but the proprietors couldn't have been more lovely! They gave us a room with a beautiful view of the city wall, lit at night. The morning breakfast is superb and the ower will share rare fruits from his 120 tree orchard. We were served fresh white currants. Although not modern, this is an authentic family... More

It's right on top of the village's hill, overlooking the stunning buildings. But the rooms, especially the bathrooms, show a somewhat outdated idea of style and comfort. Helpful and quirky staff, no elevator. All in all, you could do a lot worse.

This hotel is handy, but it is not good value for money. We have travelled by bicycle through Italy twice, and this is the probably the most basic hotel we have had, at one of the highest prices we have paid. They even added a 5 Euro charge for parking our bikes - something that has never happened before, in... More

The hotel is well located at the beginning of the historical part of town. Parking is about 150 meters up hill. The rooms are adequate. There is no elevator so be aware if you don't travel light. Staff was helpful but not careful. I requested that they book a local restaurant for me, which they agreed to do. When I... More

We stayed here one night before our walk to Orvieto. While the choice was the walking tour company's I would probably have chosen it myself based upon reviews. The room had a terrific view of the Pitigliano old town and the spectacular walls, particularly at night. The room was clean and of reasonable size. The bathroom was OK but I... More

This hotel is an older style hotel on the main road of Pitigliano. The room was good sized, as was the bathroom. The bathroom had been updated reasonably recently, and the shower had many buttons including options for a sauna. Some people have said they did not like the woven towels, but we found them quite absorbent and quick to... More
