Cannot wait to return in October... Great month-long stay in Sept-October 2015. Staying again in 2016. Friendly, helpful. Rosella, manager, is a sweetheart. Great location for the Val D'Orca and beyond in Toscana. Thank you Rosella, Marco & Luisa. Vi vedero presto! Shelley Panzarella

This place is very beautiful and very clean. The manager does not speak English but can communicate easy topics such as how much and how many nights. Her kindness makes up for the disadvantage. The location is perfect situated for visiting Tuscany. I bought a hiking trail map from the Pienza information center and did two hikes to two neighboring... More

We have stayed in this B&B at least 4 times, maybe 5. We usually book Il Bianscopino, which is a small apartment with a separate bedroom and kitchen/lounge. This year, we booked too late and stayed in Il Chiclamino, which is a large room that has a nice table, good shower, and comfortable bed. The free Wi-fi works well also.... More

Spotlessly clean, well furnished and with views over the private garden, our room, or more correctly rooms, meant a very comfortable stay overnight in Pienza. On the first floor, room 5 has an ante room with a table and chairs in which guests can choose to take their breakfast although the enclosed garden is well supplied with tables and chairs... More

We stayed only one night in this place and we're initially a little apprehensive but ended up being quite overwhelmed by the comfortable and cosy accommodation and the generous provision for breakfast and snacks. We would have been happy to stay longer and would return. Excellent value, all enhanced by the personal touch!

This was our second visit to Il Giardino Segreto. The price is very reasonable and the location perfect, within the city walls of Pienza. In the mornings I would walk to the local bakery and buy coronets, the italian version of croissants. There is a free parking lot within a few blocks of the B&B which we knew from experience... We stayed for 2 nights in the loft apartment. It well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Overall, I would say good value, though the room was a bit tight. The free wifi signal didn't reach the loft, so we had to go to the main building and sit on the stairs to use wifi. The main building has a... More

What a fabulous place to stay in such a beautiful part of Italy. Kitchen was stocked with breakfast items. Fresh fruit and espresso machine in the office. Enjoyed afternoon naps and evening wine with my friend in the garden area. Beautiful flowers in the garden. I could have stayed here the whole time I was in Italy and would have... More

I stayed alone there in the last year summer. Il Giardino Segreto is a very nice place to stay. With a garden just outside the house, I can have a simple breakfast there. The bed is on the loft, and there is a dormer over the bed. You can close it, but I chose to open it, letting the sunlight... More

We spent three days in an apartment and it was perfect. Lovely furnishings, windows opened onto the central garden, kitchen stocked with breakfast items. Fresh fruit and espresso machine in the office. Central location for exploring the Val D'Orcia. Reasonable rates. Bella Italia!

“This is an intimate and small B&B so it has no elevator. Nevertheless, the rooms on the 2nd floor are accessible. The property contains 3 beautiful little apartments on the garden with small but efficient kitchens.”
