My husband, 21 year old daughter and I spent 5 days at Villa La Cappella. From the minute you enter through the gates, you're treated as a part of the family. Sonia and Patricia are friendly, funny, and ready to set you up on any Tuscan adventure you choose. Fresh, local food is lovingly prepared for each guest, and food... More

Room was very clean and spacious. Wifi was ok as well. Its reachable only by car and theres a good parking space as well. Breakfast was good as well. Thier dog Zita is very friendly but those who are afraid of dogs shouldn't loose this opportunity. The owners will do anything to accomodate the guests.

We booked a walking week in Villa La Cappella which included food and guided walks, the Tinadi family made us welcome as if we were honoured guests of the family, rather than customers, giving us the relaxing Tuscan break we hoped for. The walks were led by Patrizio and Diane who adjusted our itinerary to take account of the weather.... More

Perhaps the most important part of a stay at Villa La Capella is the Tinaldi family, the mother, son Patrizio, daughter Sonia and their spouses who operate the Villa. Their attention to detail, caring helpfulness and interaction with guests make this feel like spending time within an extended family – but with no responsibilities! We spent seven nights here during... More

It was a pleasure meeting Family Tinalli & Team. The trip to their villa was a dream come true. Sonia, Patrizo and Diana and the rest of the team are wonderful hosts going out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. I got a little wimpy on the walks and they always sent a car to get... More

This is the place to stay in Tuscany. Our walking tour included countryside and city hikes. Thank you Patrizio, Sonia, Diana, Mama Rosa and all staff for making our week an unforgettable experience. Our suite offered us with a spectacular view of the country side. Beautiful sunrise every morning. My husband's balloon adventure was his highlight. I especially enjoyed our... More

Diana and Patrizio are wonderful and extremely friendly landlords. We had some issues (not with the hotel!) to sort out and they helped us in all possible ways - just fantastic and certainly above average! If we needed any recommendations for trips or restaurants they always help you very patiently and with lots of enthusiasm.

This villa is driven by a family with a big heart; Sonia, Diana, Patrizio, Mamma and of course the rest of the team. We lived in the bigger apartment rooms and they were great. The villa has a wonderful pool area where it was nice to spend some time. The food, both lunch and dinners, were excellent. Good location, with... More

my husband found the walking tour from Hotel Villa La Capella on the Internet. It sounded too good to be true but it had very good reviews from Trip Advisor. We felt the price was of excellent value for all you were going to do. We just returned from our adventure and we have to say this walking tour far... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A charming rural retreat dating back to the 12th century, Villa La Cappella enjoys a fabulous location amidst the hills of Montespertoli, the small town situated on the old road linking the city of Florence with the towns of Certaldo and San Gimignano. This exclusive property is named after the chapel (cappella in Italian) built in the middle of the fortified medieval residence in the 18th century. Meticulous restoration work has resulted in the transformation of the original buildings into a luxurious and environmentally-friendly country hotel, designed so as to be in perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. ... more   less
