The roads leading to the property were very poor, large potholes making it almost impossible to drive even in daylight. We decided against going out at night and ate in. This was made difficult as the kitchen was very basic (we stayed in Scalette). No microwave and no oven so everything had to be cooked on the hotplates with nowhere... More

we visited monteborgo the third time from 14.08.2012 to 28.08.2012 and everything was fine, as we expected! of course we knew about the beautiful landscape and the silence of the surrounding, this exactly is, what we are looking for every year :-) near to monteborgo there is a small village called montespertoli, where you can go shopping (coop) or visit... Very peaceful. lovely accommodations, wonderful large kitchen, very small TV, get instructions for using the washer...not easy....no dryer of course. The roads going back to the property are difficult to drive at night. On Sunday plan to eat at home. Montespertoli is closed as is everything else nearby. There is no wi-fi at the property or in town. In fact... More

This was our second stay in Capanna di Gigi in Monteborgo which is a small hamlet consisting of half a dozen detached properties. It was like coming home. A friendly welcome from Guido and his father who are always available but never encroach upon your privacy. The property is clean and has everything you could want. The views and location... More

“We spend a nice and lovely holiday in Monteborgo (CasaRosa) from 11th to 18th of June, 2011. The house was really nice and convenient for our group (four adults and two children); swimming pool, which was about 100 meters from the house, was heavily used by us, especially children. Accessories of the house were good enough (only minus was the... More

Top notch!!! I almost don't want to share it here, so that prices won't go up and availability is garuanteed to me, but there is nothing left to wish for in this very beautifully and lovingly kept location. People are extremely friendly, too. Go, see, and enjoy, you`ll come home a happier person. Daniela Walzer, Berlin, Germany

Monteborgo is a collection of restored houses in a small hamlet near Montespertoli. We chose it because of the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor, but still kept our expectations low because of the very affordable price. We needn't have. From our arrival, I was consistently impressed with the quality of the lodgings and the professionalism of the owners. The workmanship in... More

We have spend a great holiday at Monteborgo this year. The appartment (Capanna di Gigi) was very wel equiped (very nice garden, good kitchen, bathrooms and beds) and has a great view over the countrysite. The agriturismo is situated on a lovely hillside and the surroundings are very quiet. Special thanks has to be made to the Nesi family who... More
