Nice warm welcome in what looks like a family ran hotel, impressive bar / restaurant area which bright and open plan. I got the feeling myself and colleague were the only people stopping overnight at the hotel (it is now off season in this area) Room was a bit basic but very comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a bit of...

Stayed for just one night with a couple of friends. The staff were genuinely friendly and pleasant. It makes such a difference and the whole experience left a smile on all our faces. More hotels should be like this.

Thank you! Gracie mille!!!! The BEST SEVICE! Fantastic location!!! Lovely, lovely, lovely! We'll be back, for SURE! This hotel deserves the best score on both service, the staff, the rooms and the location. We've had such lovely days in Salò. And the city is so beautiful, you just have to fall in love with this place.

Erika The Manageress of the Hotel is truly a lovely lady. Not only is she very friendly but can organize pretty much anything @ the drop of a hat. Nothing is too much trouble. We contacted direct & managed to book 4 double rooms in the space of a 2 weeks when Booking.Com said they were unavailable. Rooms are basic...

Larger hotel chains need to stay...

I led a rugby team out here for a three night stay. The hotel rooms unfortunately are very small & mixed in terms of modern look/maintenance. The food was very good & there was plenty off it. The area of Salo itself is beautiful and this hotel is right in the centre. Erica one of the staff is incredible &...

The reception was nice. We booked late in the summer season but the room absolutely stunk. The smell seemed to be coming from the bathroom and it was so bad we had to keep the door closed and open the window. It was almost unbearable. When we opened the window the noise from the traffic was also bad.

My husband, two teenagers, and I were in the Italian Lake District off-season, which meant that lodgings were hard to find since apparently this area only comes alive (and the hotels only open up) after Easter. We ended up at Hotel Commercio in Salo and the experience was not very pleasant. The rate we paid for two rooms was high,...

The façade, interior and rooms seems to have some out straight from the 1960s, and probably they have. Such a sad place in a central, nice spot.

Very nicely located hotel with a nice restaurant and a sun terrace roof top (Called the Solarium). You have the lake a minutes walk away and the staff is very friendly. The mother and Father of the family runs the hotel together with their son and daughter. The son and daughter speaks good english and the mother speaks a little...
