We recently stayed at villa romita who are partnered with hotel hermitage (approx 150m away from one another). We found the hotel staff to all be very friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely spacious and had a nice outdoor terrace. The bathroom was a good size and very clean

We have been visiting Sant'Agata and Sorrento for about six years now and we always stay at either the Villa Romita or its parent hotel the Grand Hermitage. William and Renato - together with their team (the staff rarely change) - run a terrific hotel with the most relaxed and pe

Excellent Hotel, we actually stayed in the Villa which is a short walk from the main Hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is a short drive from Sorrento but the Hotel supply a free shuttle bus throughout the day. There is a village which is a short walk

The first thing we noticed was the fantastic view over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples from our balcony. Room was clean, decent size and ideal for what we required. Safe always handy. 5 minute walk round the back to the small town of Saint Agathe where we ate regularly. The use o

We stayed at the Villa Romita, a villa just behind the Grand Hotel Hermitage just outside of Sorrento. It was a very nice big room, great bathroom and unbelievable views of Mt Vesuvius, the bay of Naples and Sorrento. The wifi is not very good, and there is no elevator, but it is

Hi, what is the easiest/cost efficient way to get to this hotel from Naples airport?
How far from Naples airport please and is there convenient public transport
The bus from Naples airport to sorrento train station was an hour then a public bus that goes up to villa romita and stops right out the front was about 15min

Hi can anyone tell us where the shuttle bus picks up in sorrento
Hi Sonia, if you are talking about the hotel's shuttle bus, you book it with reception and they pick you up where they drop you off which is nearly opposite a little cafe called Il Giardino Mediterraneo which is on the main street which eventually leads to the bus station (although you need to go down steps) to get the local bus. If you are talking about the local bus, then this is picked up in the main street in San't Agata between the war memorial and the pharmacy and runs approx every 30 mins. You can walk from Villa Romita to Sorrento which brings you out at the side of Hotel Hilton. This is a very steep walk but a lovely walk and again reception are very helpful and will tell you where to pick up the trail. Hope this is of some help....

Hi I recently booked Villa Romita for 10 days in June with family and paid extra for rooms with a sea view. Does anyone know if these rooms come with balconies or is it just a window? I posted a similar question recently but I think the answers I received related to the main hotel and not the villa. Many thanks
I have just reply via mail . Waiting to welcome in our hotel

Hi, do you have tea/coffee making facilities in either the bedrooms/villa,as I understand breakfast is taken in the adjoining hotel.
Tea making facilities are not allowed from health & safety rule...but the service bar is open all day long until midnight.

"Rooms with north and west views will have stunning views although some traffic noise from the Via Nastro Verde"
"If you are staying in Villa Romita, ask for a room with a balcony!"
"Ask for a room looking towards the Grand Hotel Hermitage, the views are better!"
"Don't stay there !"
"All top floors for the Villa - or any compared to the hotel - avoid the Hotel if possible, saw these rooms and no good views at all. YOu can use the facilities so recommend the rustic Italian environment of the villa."
