A group of my colleagues and I stayed in this beautiful house for a brief work trip to Trim. Geraldine could not have been more obliging and welcoming. Stunning house full of character and so homely. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Brilliant place to stay. Geraldine and Edward were more than helpful. The breakfast was also brilliant. Staff attentive but not over the top. I would really recommend a stay here. Enjoyed a lovely walk into town and around other ruins clsoe by.

Being terrified of the thought of driving on the left side of the road and being discouraged by the high hotel prices in Dublin, we chose Highfield House in Trim, County Meath. Access to Dublin was easy via the hourly bus line 111 which picks up just across the river from the B&B. The room and public spaces were clean and gave the impression of staying in a museum. The cooked breakfast was delicious. Yes, we would stay here again. Restaurants and pubs were within easy walking distance.
