We have been staying in the Coral Hotel in the past years but this year was very disapointing. The rooms are very old and they havent change anithing in the past 2-3 years They clearly don't value long term relationship. We will not stay therevin the future
Very big mouse in the backyard and the owner was very rude. Same breakfast for every single day It was the unlucky choise by far... The condition of the rooms were very bad. Bed sheets, linens were dirty. Toilet was horrible. Ambience was very bad. Overall a horrible experience.
Do not visit this hotel, the owner was very unpolite. The breakfast was the same every day Also the internet speed was very pour amd the furniture was old. You should search for other hotels. This "Coral" should be closed
It is the worst please I ever been. -same breakfast for 9 days ... everyday -old furniture -on the first day I was forced to change the room because the hotel was overbooked (the reservation was made on February) -I was unable (also my wife and my daughter) to take a proper shower because of the low pressure of the water (the owner was already informed on the second day... but he didn’t do anything) ... Please book away from this hotel
Hidden away in a quiet olive grove, The Hotel Coral has the most perfect setting, not to mention the swimming pool/bar. Air conditioned rooms, regularly cleaned, and ample breakfast dinner is all you ned for a great holiday here. Did I mention the beach is only 150 Mtrs away! Where the Hotel also has a beach bar, pool too! A true oasis on the Island. I could stay there year round!!
For all of those who plan on visiting this object, just one very important info - We loved Hotel Coral! :slightly_smiling_face: Our company decided to organize a team building and 18 of us spent a great week at this lovely place. Both the rooms, swimming pool and garden were impeccably clean every single day. We had a regular self-serving breakfast and each day has its own specialty. Really cozy atmosphere, swimming pool, volleyball court and table tennis made our days even more interesting. Whatever we needed, the guys really made sure to provide it, even the small but important things, like a needle that we needed to get rid of the sea urchin spines :slightly_smiling_face: The girl working there who is at the same time the owner even made sure to check who is a couple so that they can provide a double instead of a twin bed for them. Thanks to these amazing people we had awesome time at this place surrounded by the olive shades and we would highly recommend it to everyone! Thanks Hotel Coral!…
The hotel is located in olive forest, 12 km from Limenas, may be 2-3 km from the center of Skala Rachoni. Outside is good looking. The room was big enought, old furniteres, but comfortable. The staff was friendly, they all speak English very well. It is a budget hotel, the food was basic, but tasty. The breakfast was the same every day - ham, cheese, eggs. The dinners were fine, delicious. I was very surprise of lack of oleves in the meals because defenetly oleves are thousands of olive trees at the island... The wi fi was ok at the restourant, but very low in the rooms. The beach is 5 min away by walk. There is a big supermarket on the main road. The place is good for relax, but there is nothing to do there except relaxing. If it is ok for you - that is your place! At evening there are some tavernas near by, nothing else. It is so dark so you can't go for a walk, so we stayed at our room every evening and watching TV. For us it is not the best way to spend a vacation :)…
The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures it features on booking websites. My guess is that they have photographed their apartments, as the apartments seemed to have a bit more space. The regular rooms are below average and do NOT look like the pictures featured on their and other websites. The hotel is no more than a villa with a hairdryer, towels and 2 soaps provided by them. The room is incredibly small and quite ugly, with old furniture and an ugly armchair which occupies a lot of the already scarce space. We’ve stayed in villas before, and I have no problem with them as long as they are not advertised as a hotel and as looking good. This room did not look good at all. The TV was only working on one channel, but it turned itself off every few minutes. There is also no kitchenette, unless you’re staying in one of their apartments. The bathroom is big enough, with a toilet, a shower, a sink, a mirror, 2 glasses and 2 soaps :) There is also a balcony - the view from our window was towards olive trees, so quite peaceful and nice. There are enough parking spaces around the hotel, which is good. The breakfast is repetitive and not very tasty. For example if you buy a cup of coffee at the pool bar, it’s OK, the one served during breakfast is absolutely tasteless. There is one type of salami served every single day, one type of Swiss cheese, 2 kinds of bread, boiled eggs, butter, 2 kinds of marmalades, cornflakes and milk and some kind of juice. On Saturday they offered cheese and tomatoes, it must have been a special day since it was the only day we got tomatoes and on Sunday there was a small croissant-like cookie (tasty though, but only on Sunday). I’ve stayed in better-looking hotels on Thassos in the past, with a large variety of tasty food for breakfast. The pool area is nice, with olive trees, flowers, a ping-pong table and, of course, the pool ad sunbeds. The pool is large enough. The staff are friendly, however quite absent-minded at times – we received another guest’s room key for example! There are also room keys lying around at the reception, but there is often no staff present there during the evening / night. The cleaning lady comes daily, takes out the trash and makes the beds, so that’s a plus. The Wi-fi is NOT working at all – not even at the reception, and it lacks completely in the rooms. It should not be advertised as existing, and unfortunately it is.…
The hotel is clean and nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. I had come hear for two years now and it is always nice. The prices are very reasonable. Only the bathroom needs an upgrade, but if you are spending most of your day at the beach it is just fine. Near the hotel there is a supermarket and couple of tavernas.
I was a group leader from Bulgaria, leading 38 people in Coral. So, i am speaking like a person who was in charge to make people from my group happy. And the people who are managing the hotel, helped me with that task in their best way. The receptionists were very organized. There were no problem at all to put people in their rooms. It happened very fast, because the receptionists were prepared for us and ready with the documents and etc. The open bar was nice with very good international music, rich choice on cocktails. Rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast was sufficient. Not so rich, but different every morning. And the attitude - Excellent !!! So polite, so nice ! So my final assessment is 5 points from 6. After all no matter how good you are, you can always do better. ;)…
