Finally, after months of uncertainty, we have made it back to the Hotel Korina, notwithstanding the Carona virus. We were warmly greeted, and introduced to all of the safely measures that have to be in place. Dimitris and Sofia are as welcoming as ever, and the Hotel is as stunning as ever, with even more improvements to the rooms. Breakfast is ordered for the next day via QR Code reader, and is a choice of six breakfasts. Drinks at the bar are as always exceptional, many different nationalities, Greek, Romanian and Bulgarian, plus us Brits make it a wonderful and relaxing experience. We know we are the only British guests this year, and also the last this year. We have re-booked this years July holiday, for next July. I just hope all the Covid-19 will be over by then.....

Having vacations in this pandemic period tends to put a bit of stress. We had not too many concerns instead knowing the people at Hotel Korina and we are happy to see they do what ever is possible to keep the visitors in safe conditions. All the time the personnel is wearing masks and gloves, the breakfast transformed from self-service to a la cart, offering good selection and more, each customer being served individually at the table including coffee and drinks. And they spray everything after each usage of the tables, sun beds, places where the people stay. I think we're in a safe place and we appreciate a lot the effort the people at Hotel Korina put in offering us a good stay and help us enjoying the time in Thasos without nervous fear and concerns.

Wow, what can I say. This hotel is just fantastic. My boyfriend and I only visited for 4 nights in September as part of a longer holiday in Bulgaria, but we definitely wished we had booked longer. The rooms are lovely and clean, very bright and spacious. The bathroom was done very nicely. The pool is beautiful, perfect temperature and extremely clean with plenty of stylish sun loungers and beanbags - enough for all the guests. There’s a good variety of food served at breakfast, hot and cold. The location is perfect, just a short (3 minute) walk down to the sea front where there are lovely restaurants and bars and also close to the beach. There is plenty of parking if you are arriving by car. For the size of the hotel, you wouldn’t expect them to have a tennis court, but they do! Most importantly though, the owners, Sofia and Dimitris, are just lovely. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and they treat guests like family. We were around the hotel bar with them and the other lovely guests every night until the early hours of the morning (5am one day!!). It’s lovely that their children are also around socialising, and the beautiful dog! Sofia and Dimitris, thank you so much and we will definitely be back soon xxx

We stayed 2 weeks, 8th to 22nd September '19. Our first time in Thassos (gorgeous) and we chose the Korina. What a perfect choice. I can only continue to sing the praises of this beautiful hotel, in the most perfect setting. We travelled all round the island and didn't see anything that compared. The owners Dimitri and Sofia were so warm, welcoming and helpful. The staff were also fantastic. Angie at the pool bar was amazing and also all the other team members we met. As a swimmer, the pool is one of the very best I have ever swum in on a holiday. Having been to Greek Islands at least 30 times across the years, I can honestly say Thassos is now firmly in my top 3, and the Korina perhaps the best I've had the pleasure to stay at in Greece. Keep doing what you are doing! We will be recommending your fantastic hotel to all our friends and family and we WILL be back.... I can say that with certainty! A huge thank you for making this such a perfect and memorable holiday for us. Anne and Trevor

We visited the Korina for the first time and were not disappointed. Beautiful boutique hotel run by friendly welcoming owners and staff. Rooms were immaculate with lovely beds and bedding, all equipped with excellent facilities. Location is about 5 minute walk from the beach and tavernas etc. Plenty of restaurants serving good quality food with an abundance of seafood and very reasonably priced food. The hotel itself provides a beautiful fresh Greek buffet every morning which was superb. We will definitely return to this perfect hotel!
