Well, where do I start? At the beginning of course! We arrived mid-afternoon and were greeted by hotel owner Sofia and shown to our fabulous room overlooking the pool (we had been upgraded!). First impressions exceeded our expectations and everything from there on just kept

We stayed for 2 weeks and were very impressed with the hotel and local area. Beaches nearby are beautiful. The hotel is more luxury than most Greek hotels at a good price. Nice and quiet hotel too (not full of kids). The pool bar offers good selection of drinks, food is ‘snacks’

We have just spent two weeks at the Korina. The hotel is modern looking, has excellent views of the mountains, comfy beds and a nice pool and bar area. Special mention to the lady who provides the breakfast {sorry forgot name!}, to cater for a number of different nationalities

Response from SYolo, Front Office Manager at Hotel Korina
Responded Sep 9, 2018
Dear Guest, I have to admit that in the last 18 years that me and my husband have been running this Hotel, this is the first time that we both are genuinely upset by an online review. Tripadvisor is a website where you should write your experiences about travel, accommodations and food, but not to critisize and accuse people. We are upset because we have to reply and explain ourselves online to your false accusations, for something that is totaly irrelevant of our business. We have had dogs for years now. Our last hunting dog "Hera" has sadly passed away last winter at the age of 14 years . Bella is a beautiful pedigree dog of 8 years old. She is Not a pet. She is a working hunting dog. She lives by the basketball court all year around and she -as all the other dogs that live in hot countries - prefers just to do nothing and rest during the hot summer months. From what I remember while being here the weather was too hot even for you to bother going for a walk further than the pool area. Bella is treated with love and care, is fed of course daily and her water is changed at least 3 times a day, as she tends to kick her water bowl and spill her water all the time. She has scheduled appointments with her vet every 6 months for blood tests, she has her vaccines and she is always groomed and has her teeth cleaned always before the Hunting season starts. We would never make something for show as we do not need to. Dimitris and Bella are hunting buddies and it is totaly unfair to state that he has kicked her as he would never do something like that! You are accusing a man who has bottle fed last winter for 2 months 5 puppies that he found abandoned in a box in the snow- while hunting with Bella- before he managed to find them a home! As for the incident you mention about the till, you are misjudging once more and that is why you can't understand the language or the mediterranean temper. Yes he did hit the till because the drawer had stuck and they could not open it!! You have been offered a warm welcome to our Home and we have gone beyond ourselves to help you have an enjoyable time and overcome the accident you had on your first day even by providing you with a walking stick. If this review is your way to show your appreciation and gratitute I have to say you have a unique way of doing it. You have to understand that different countries have got different perspective of life and things around them. There is nothing in the Greek law that needs to change. In this country we tend to have as our priority human beings and then the animals. We take care and show our respect and concern firstly to our neighbours, friends, family, guests and fellow citizens and then to our pets. If your priorites are the other way around, them me too I am so sorry about it. With respect,

Hello, The pool is mainly used by the Hotel's residents but occasionaly there will be guests from other hotels visiting more so to play tennis than to use the pool. We do not advertise our pool to be open in public. I hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you once more in our Hotel.

Do there provide tea and coffee in rooms ,and do still have bye bottle water ? Is there a nearby shop
Hello, Most of our rooms are equipped with kettles and for those that still do not have, we will be happy to provide you with one if requested. The tap water is drinkable everywhere on the island even in the toilets, and you are also able to get bottled water either for the pool bar or from any local shop. The first super market is about 400m away.
