The Internet was outdated, not secure, and slow. Air condition was working only the last night of my stay, 22 June 2022. I was there for a two-week stay with Richmond Holidays. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Loved the weather and swimming pool. Lunches at the pool snack bar were great.

I travelled here to have a week of relaxation and contemplation and had an amazing time. The hotel is located a couple of metres from the beach and so you have the choice of whether to spend time by the pool or beach, there are plenty of excursions to choose from and as I booked through Richmond Holidays I also got to use their waterfront facilities. As I have never done water sports before I started slowly and went out on a kayak each afternoon which was just perfect. There was also a painting week going on whilst I was there and so I signed up for that and thoroughly got in touch with my artistic side!

The hotel staff were always friendly and very helpful, the food was great in the hotel and there was also a lunchtime taverna next door which also served more traditional Greek food. However the pool bar at the hotel also did great lunches.

The rooms were a good size, very clean, had mosquito nets on the windows and patio doors but the air con wasn't switched on due to it being September which was a shame as it was rather hot still. The mattress was a bit too firm for me but when I spoke to reception about this they provided a mattress topper.

All in all a great holiday in a superb location.

Zefiros Beach is away from crowds, noise and traffic and is ideal for relaxation. Some people have made an issue over Richmond using the hotel. We were with Thomson but apart from the odd occasion when the pool was used for a group activity by the young members of the party, there was no intrusion. This Christian group proved to be lively but polite and considerate. There were not enough sun beds around the pool and local people (non resident) use the pool and pool bar particularly on weekend afternoons.
Food was plentiful and had a Greek flavour but was managed for the taste of a largely English guest population. It was, however, tasty, well prepared and well presented but lacked the favourites you might expect such as moussaka, stifado and kleftiko.
The car hire associated with the hotel does not offer the best deals so if you take the minibus to Samos or Pythagoreion you can find good offers and most hirers will deliver and collect the car to the hotel. The island is beautiful and a hire car is the best way of seeing a lot of it.
The beach is gorgeous and the water is clear and clean.
The last word is for the staff who were friendly and helpful and would spend time to have a chat about the island and what to see and where to go.

This is my 7th visit to the Zefiros, and the staff are now my friends. They are all so pleasant and will do anything for you, particularly if you try a few words of Greek. Yes the rooms are quite basic but it's not a 5 star hotel! It's clean, has a balcony overlooking the sea, with spectacular sunsets, and I even had a fridge. The air conditioning can be a bit touch and go, bit had a room on the 2nd floor this year, with fab air con. Boyan the head waiter is so attentive to everyone's needs, and happily kept a bottle.of wine for me in the kitchen fridge so I could use over a couple of nights. Alec in the pool bar notices everything, and appears virtually as soon as you sit down. Lunches are excellent. The evening meals are more basic than lunches, but you can go back for 2nds or even 3rds! Plates are removed quickly for hygiene reasons, you just get another plate for seconds- after all you're not doing the washing up! As has been mentioned there are free shuttle buses to Pythagoria and Samos on alternate days. Beach towels can be hired for a deposit of 5 euros, and you can change these daily if you want to. The pool bar is now open till 7.30pm so pre dinner G&Ts were had!! I will return

I stayed here the last week of August as part of Richmond holidays. The staff at zefiros hotel are extremely friendly and were accommodating of my gluten intolerance at meal times. My bedroom was cleaned to a good standard, although one time the full bin bag was left on the bathroom worktop which was not very hygienic. Very good lunches and I would recommend sitting on the terrace as you can get a good sea view and a free dessert. Would recommend a stay here and am already planning my return

Hotel that needs a major renovation and this especially in the bathrooms which are decidedly dated, furthermore the rooms on the ground floor are to be avoided. The staff is friendly and helpful but as far as the cuisine is concerned it is certainly the worst I have ever tried, poor and repetitive food and not worthy of Greek cuisine. The tour operator reported the presence of taverns nearby but the hotel is to be recommended only to those who want to live an ascetic life because it is isolated and lifeless. Furthermore, I would like to point out that on-site assistance is practically non-existent and decidedly uncaring, the only thing that matters is selling the trips and for the rest we can only hope that we don't need it at all. It is a hotel frequented only by English people and Italians are definitely in short supply, so much so that the facilities available to customers, including the beach, are not explained in any way. The only positive notes are the beauty of the island, the crystal clear sea water and the delightful climate, things which, thank goodness, do not depend on the hotel. Rachele Benedetti

Worst food I have had on a holiday. Included meals were really poor quality, repetitive and little choice. Very stingy in many ways ie small portions, very poor quality and little protein, one very small serviette, no spoons on the table, only condiments were salt and pepper, nothing else. Constantly having to ask for more of things including more milk for the included drinks, one choice of fruit at dinner, usually watermelon. It wasn’t enjoyable or relaxing. Man on the reception usually sat on the terrace smoking and on his phone so had to go find him if you needed anything. Very unhelpful, refused to give me a plug for my bath even though I had specifically booked somewhere with a bath due to chronic illness pain. It all felt very stingy 👎

Welcoming and well-kept structure, very kind staff, relaxed and family atmosphere.
Room: spacious and bright, equipped with all amenities, including mosquito nets! Bathroom a bit dated but comfortable, with large shelf and especially the bathtub that prevents flooding!
Food: Breakfast and dinner buffet. Satisfied, especially with the attention we have been given as vegetarians. We had never experienced so much zeal in explaining the ingredients every night and we were satisfied with the proposals.
The "Half Pension" formula does not include drinks at dinner, I specify this only because the catalogues do not mention it and I think it is right to know.
Location: the area is a bit isolated, only two taverns are within walking distance. I admit that initially this aspect had us a bit worried, but once we rented the vehicle we realized that what could be a flaw was actually the great quality of this hotel: tranquility and relaxation (you sleep well) and especially the direct view of a wonderful beach! From Kokkari and Ireon, Mykali is absolutely the pebble beach with the most beautiful sea!!
We recommend renting a vehicle because the island has so many beauties to discover, but the hotel has an excellent free shuttle service that every other day takes you to the two main towns, Samos Town and Pythagorion- to be booked at reception from 2pm the previous day.
We are therefore happy to have spent a week in this hotel and if we return to Samos we would definitely return to Zefiros with the pleasure of finding this staff again!

If you were to visit it, you wouldn't know it was a beach bar. Because really, all it is is just some scattered sunbeds, some under trees and others under some small umbrellas, with the waiters being as present as Jesus himself -- you'll have to wait until revelation to come true for them to come. Also the prices are way higher than they should be, for the quality of the goods there.

Me and my girlfriend wanted to visit Samos island for cheap holidays so we booked at Zefiros hotel. The room at first sight was simple but it remind you of Greece. The mattresses were very good. The food at the buffet was also very good and in the a la Carte restaurant we went on our third day and it was so good that we went all the rest days of our holidays. The beach was very clean and the drinks and cocktails were amazing . 8-10 minutes away of pythagorio and 15 from airport. That’s place unexpected good.

I’m on vacation, I’m 100% in a good mood, but I will not let anyone treat me the way they did, not in Samos Greece not anywhere in the world. Thank God with the social media we have a voice, and hopefully they will learn from their mistakes!!!!
