We just love to visit this fantastic family hotel, where everybody is so friendly. It is close to the best town on Samos, Pythagorien, that you have to visit, when it is magical when the sun goes down. But also many exciting things too see at day time. Mykali has the biggest pool with nice breeze and the best view, and most fun poolbar in the evening. It is very quiet at night while it is outside town, so you get your sleep. It is easy to take a cheap taxi or walk about 25 min. into town by the road (walk by new habor takes longer). It is not a luxury hotel, but a place where you can talk to the staff, just as we like it :) It is very very clean, while they clean to much, I dont clean so much at home :D The restaurant have a nice buffe and a la carte, and you have dinner with the best view and very affordable prices. There is a big parking space, so we recommend you to rent a car just down the main road for a day or 2 to see some of the island. There are a lot of beautiful beaches/small habor towns to the east. North of Samos town you find Livadaki beach, most sandy and blue water, but you need a jeep. Drive west of Samos town, and visit some of the nice villages in the mountains, like Manolates. Go for a hike, see the nicest monasteries, or take a boattrip with Jannis from the habor to Samiopula, a small island with bounty beach. There are many things to see on Samos, even when we have been there many many times :) …
This beautiful hotel is located about 2 km from Pythagorion with an easy walk in between! It has an amazing view and lovely poolarea with poolbar where u can have a beer, drink and lunch. Seaview from the room. Calm area! We would stay here again! The staff is so nice that u forget about the hard beds 😃
Lovely staff, clean place, view to the open sea, breakfast good (only the wasps were making some unpleasantness), bar at the pool were nice and coctails were one night 5 euro. It is 2 km away from the city and beach, but they have a van that is free to for guests 3 times a day. All in all, price and the 2 stars hotel matches value.
A very quiet small hotel with a great poolbar. The staff is very friendly and helpsome. The hotel consists of several small buildings with mostly two floors (a few had three floors). Rooms very well maintained and clean. They even arranged a breakfast package for us at 6:30 one day although breakfast only started 8:00. Good shuttlebus service on time to the beach and the city.
My girlfriend and I went for a 7-day trip to Samos. For that matter we booked a room in this hotel and it was just great. We were welcomed by the owner on our first day and she took her time to tell us all we needed to know about our room, the breakfast, the dinner and what ever else we could do on the island! Showing us the room, we were brought to a neat room for two, with a balcony, a small bathroom with all things you need and two beds, as well as a TV. The breakfast and dinner was always nice, prompt service and always delicious food! Don't miss the feta! ;) The pool was always nice, even though I wished for it to be a little cooler (But well, the strong sun in Samos doesn't allow for that). It was refreshing non-the-less. Definitely check out the pool-bar next to it and go for a Greek Ouzo! There's a shuttle-bus from the hotel to the city and one of the various beaches. The time ranges from 9am to 3pm. This is unfortunately the latest you will get picked up. Otherwise you will have to walk on your own. This is why I highly recommend renting a scooter or car right next to the hotel from Samos Car Rentals. They also offer great service and are quite cheap, if you rent it for multiple days. To sum it up: The hotel is great, the rooms are clean and so it the rest of the hotel. The people are really friendly! Definitely recommended!…
