The hotel's amenities, including the well-maintained pool and delicious food options, are also popular, although a few guests find the drinks a tad expensive. We visited Limanaki Hotel during our trip around Kefalonia . We chose this hotel due to the great reviews and it is indeed one of the loveliest hotels we have ever stayed in . The location is perfect , in such a pretty part of Kefalonia with access to the best coast walk into Argostoli. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the new rooms with the best balcony and views of the sea. The staff here are very attentive and stick to the current rules of mask wearing and cleanliness due to the pandemic. We had dinner here one evening and the food was great . We sunbathed round the pool one day which is lovely and very clean and sunbathed on the small beach just a short walk down from the hotel where we were treated to a turtle hanging out in the sea not far from where we were swimming.
We will definitely return to this lovely hotel.

Booked this holiday last minute as we were due to fly to our own apartment in Spain but our flights were cancelled due to FCO advice. Well can honestly say we had a fabulous stay and are so glad we booked this hotel.
It's situated right in the middle of Lassi (30 minute walk) and Argostoli just a bit further (although over the ridge is 35 mins). We love to walk so didn't bother us at all. We also hired bikes which makes everything a bit more accessible.
Great reasonably priced restaurants and bars in both resorts.
Pool area in hotel is superb we had room 217 overlooking pool and although a little dated it was spotlessly clean and comfortable with air conditioning and drying facilities on the balcony.
Breakfast was excellent and through the choices available we had a different breakfast every day (try the homemade cake, it's delicious).
Short walk to a small pebble beach with sunbeds.
All in all a fabulous stay with friendly staff, would definitely return!

My partner and I stayed last week and just want to give an honest review, if I could give it 3.5 stars then I would.

The whole hotel is spotless, lovley rooms with AC, the pool is excellent and just what you need and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is good but is very out of the way there are no shops or places to eat nearby, the closest is Lassi with lots of shops and restraunts but that is a 30 minute walk, would highly recommend hiring a car or at least take taxis into your budget.

The breakfast is OK, not a lot to choose from and the "fresh" fruit looks like it just gets topped up with watermelon and the rest of it stays underneath and goes brown

The cleaners did our room every morning but didnt take any notice of the "do not disturb" sign, one morning they unlocked the door themselves whilst my partner was still in bed and I was getting breakfast asking if they could clean the room at 8am which we didnt appreciate, they are lovely and do a great job but we had it happen 2 or 3 times where we left the room to go to the pool and left it as do not disturb and it was still cleaned so I don't think they take any notice which we didn't like

There was a mini fridge in the room which had a few drinks inside, we weren't told and there is nothing to say in the room but these items aren't free and we had to ask if they were or not. Also there is a big sign on the front of the fridge stating that you cannot use the fridge for any food or drink so I am not really sure why there it's in the room in the first place pointless paying for its electric

Overall its a nice hotel in a lovely location but some small changes could make a massive difference

We have just spent 9 nights at the limanaki and had the most amazing stay, the staff are very welcoming and go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The food was unbelievable and portions are huge, they have their own beach at the back of the hotel, literally 2 mins walk.
The hotel itself is cleaned to a very high standard, simple rooms and amazing views off the balcony whichever side your on.
It is located in a beautiful part of Kefalonia.
We cannot thank the staff enough for making our holiday so fantastic, they were simply amazing 😀 and we will definitely be going back there again.
I would 100% recommend this hotel 🏨 to anyone who is looking to relax on their holiday.
Thank you limanaki for a wonderful holiday!!

This hotel went beyond our expectations. It is the cleanest, well looked after Hotel we have been in for a while, the staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. It is situated in a quiet part of the island. Only 10 mins away from the capital Argostolion you can walk to it if you are fit but the taxis are only €8 which is reasonable if you are sharing the taxi. The breakfast was plentiful, you would never leave your table with an empty stomach. After 10 days it was a little repetitive but still enjoyable. The view from our room was fantastic looking over Lixouri and the sea where we saw a pair of seals. The swimming pool was spotless and was maintained on a regular basis. Enjoyed very much swimming in it. The beaches around the island are fantastic and worth a visit. Never got bored of this island.

We recently stayed at this hotel for 10 days and loved every minute of our stay. We booked a sea view room and the view was stunning. We would sit on the balcony in awe of the view, watching the yachts and boats sailing past.
The hotel was extremely clean and the staff lovely. Alexandria on reception was very helpful in answering all our questions on beaches, restaurants etc. The two cleaners (sorry I don’t know their names) were always so cheerful and did a great job!!
Pool area, lovely and quiet during the day and never any problem to find a sun bed but like a lot of customers would have enjoyed some low music in the evenings.
Also loved the private beach it was wonderful to swim in the sea near the caves a few more sun beds here would be great. Gardens surrounding the hotel very pretty and well maintained.
35 minute walk into Agostoli and 25 min into lassi. Quite easy for us a we love to walk but others may need a car. You definitely need a car to see the rest of the island which is gorgeous and would be such a shame to miss.
We rarely go back to the same hotel/area as we love trying new places. However, I will be returning to the Liminaki Hotel hopefully with my family next year. It was just too good not to enjoy again.

I'm extremely late at writing this review but has to be done! Fabulous two week stay at the Liminaki September 2021. Hotel is in between Lassi resort and Argostoli in a peaceful setting. Lassi (main beaches in Lassi) and Argostoli are in walking distance (c. 35 minutes enjoyable walks). Location means that there is ample car parking should you wish to rent a car which was handy for us and being close to Argostoli was a good set off location for adventures elsewhere on the island.

Hotel grounds are very large. There is a large front with sun beds and pool set back from the road (enclosed with trees so private) leading to a terrace with ample seating for breakfast/lunch/dinner/bar. The garden surrounding the property extends into the rear which leads you down to the pebbled private beach. Car park to the side is separated with trees.

All staff were so friendly and helpful. Alexandria, receptionist helped us get a great deal on car rental. Katarina was also amazing. The owner who is the chef is a great cook and breakfast was always executed to a high standard with Greek specialties and greets you at breakfast. Breakfast together with other guests gives the hotel a community feel and is a great place to start a day in Greece saying Kali Mera to everyone!!
Special shout out to Rikki the dog who is always there to greet you getting in for the evening. He is very friendly, calm and loves a stroke.

In Greece you sometimes get either a very basic small hotel or a huge multi-storey monstrosity with 1000 rooms. The Limanaki is perfectly placed between the two extremes.

With about 30 bedrooms/suites, a lovely bar, a fabulous terrace & pool and even it's own little beach, the Limanaki gave us one of our best ever holidays.

We were in room 217, facing the pool and over the dining area. This had us a bit worried befoire we arrived in case it was noisy - but we couldn't hear a thing unless we sat our our balcony which faced the mountains, and even then it was just the murmur of conversations. The room was very comfortable & modern and although the bathroom was quite small it had a great shower and again was very modern. The housekeepers kept it spotlessley clean and supplied towels and fresh bed-linen every couple of days.

Breakfast was very good with a big selection of pastries, fruits, cereals, cheese, meat etc. As you'd expect there was yoghurt and honey as well as a sweet rice pudding with cinamon. There was also a couple of hot items such as eggs, bacon, sausages, fritata most days. A good selection of breads was also available.

The pool was fantasic. Despite the hotel being full we never struggled to find a couple of sunbeds (no towels reserving empty beds here) and the pool never had more than half a dozen people in it.

We only went Bed & Breakfast but we ate in the hotel a few times at lunch and dinner. Food was simple but very good and pretty much all home made.

A great selection of drinks was available from the bar although these felt a little pricey - but not too bad.

Every member of staff was excellent, professional and friendly.

For us the location was perfect - away from the usual shops and bars in the resorts but only a nice walk or a short taxi ride from Argostoli or Lassi. We found the most pleasant walk was around the coastline past the lighthouse and 'sinkholes'. It's a bit further but flatter and no big hills to climb like the other recommended ways.

All in all we found this to be an excellent place to stay and good value for money. The owners clearly care about keeping the standards high and can be seen sweeping, cleaning and tidying around the grounds all the time.

If you're after a relaxing place to stay whih isn't too far from other facilities this is the place for you.

This hotel is simply wonderful. The rooms are brand new and spotlessly clean due to the incredibly hardworking housekeeping teams who are in and out by the time you finish breakfast. We also found the location to be great, it’s a little out of the way from the busier areas but an 8 euro taxi to the centre of Argostoli is reasonable and fast. The staff on reception are also incredibly helpful, they were able to help us with car hire as well as giving us all the useful information about the island. We had a sea view room and the view is absolutely breathtaking, watching the sunset every evening with an ice cold drink was a game changer. We went for the half board option which provided a variety from pasta dishes to traditional Greek food which were all cooked with passion. Waiting staff were always friendly and efficient in setting your table for you and taking orders. Overall this hotel was absolutely superb, I could not have asked for anything better.

This hotel is a real find. We’ve now stayed here 3 times and each time it gets better. The rooms have been beautifully upgraded and the family and staff can’t do enough for you. Even the family dog makes you feel at home( especially if you slip him a sausage from the breakfast buffet!) The cleaners are fantastic- once you are down for breakfast your room will be ready on return. The pool area is spotless and quiet- no rushing up at 5am to grab a sunbed required. Fellow residents add to the ambiance, most are discerning travellers who are not looking for the mass all inclusive mayhem. We will definitely be back.
