Fabulous hotel located high up on a hill 5 min from 2 main beaches off Lassi’s buzzing main strip filled with restaurants, bars & shops. The hotel offers the most stunning sea & island view especially at sunset. Stunning pool area with well stocked pool bar which caters for the often much needed ‘pool days’ and relaxation. Staff are all super friendly & hardworking, always ready to serve. We stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom family apart-room, cleaned daily with fresh towels, very comfortable beds, Wi-Fi, tv, spacious balcony. We enjoyed the entertainment at ‘BBQ night’ with excellent food & refreshments served. Great breakfast - especially loved the fresh fruits! We hired a car which is a must wherever you stay to enjoy rest of the island. Quite enjoyed walks down to the main road and utilised taxi service (€7/€8) back up to hotel. What an awesome establishment! Highly recommend it!…
We enjoyed our stay and our 1 bedroom suite had a stunning view. The double bed could use a new mattress but otherwise we found the room perfectly functional. The bar area by the pool is lovely; the perfect place for a sundowner and the view has to be one of the best on the island at sunset. Our only real complaint is that there is literally no shade by the pool. The parasols are transparent white canvass/plastic and a fine mesh texture which let the sun through and provide no respite from the sun. It unfortunately made spending any length of time by the pool impossible and with sunloungers on Makris Gialos now costing a fortune this could be a problem for families. The hill was no problem for us by my God it’s steep towards the top. It would be a real challenge for the less fit or anyone with any mobility issues. Cabs are plentiful in supply but at 7 Euros a trip its a consideration to be aware of.…
Lovely complex. There is a steep hill to the apartments but we didn’t mind this though May be too much for some. Staff polite and friendly. Pool Was lovely. Breakfasts were great. Clean Bed linen every day
Beautiful location, lovely rooms ,some friendly staff especially on the breakfast shift and the evening waiter in the restaurant..not friendly in the bar especially the Australian/Greek,felt like he couldn't wait to serve us and get back to his American friends, this happened to a few people whilst we sat in the bar. We were told its up a slight hill !!!it was a 1 in10 that never ended ,we walked down every day but up only twice, terribly and the worst thing was no shuttle bus from hotel when they had 2 bus in the car park neither being used for visitors. So about an extra €150 -180 for taxi's, loved Lassi and would go back but not to this hotel, not impressed.
First holiday in 3 years due to restrictions, but an excellent choice at the beautiful Dionysos Village. The whole complex is spotless, well cared for and the views are to die for, but to get those views it comes at a cost. To climb the hill is not for the faint hearted, but we managed it every day sometimes twice. In my opinion breakfast was a little repetitive, but all of a very good standard. Food at lunch is once again of very good quality, prices are a little more expensive than the main strip in Lassi, with exception of Costa Costa that is a just charging way over the odds and must have a license to print money. Prices in general in Lassi are very reasonable compared to the UK (also known as Great Rip Off). A couple of suggestions of area of improvement would to be to advertise the option of eating in the restaurant, a few flyers with example of evening menu and prices for example. The bar area in the evening lacks atmosphere and choice of music being played not in keeping with Greece. More often than not the bar was empty and didn't have the draw for us to have a drink before going into Lassi or on our return. We had a problem with our safe and reported to Maria on reception and it was rectified within a few hours, excellent customer service. Overall, excellent 9.5/10. Thank you once again Dionysos for a wonderful holiday after 3 long years.…
We have just returned from the most fabulous holiday at the wonderful Dionysos Village Resort. From start to finish everything was wonderful. We booked direct with Georgia, and there was a taxi waiting for us at the airport. On arrival we were given a lovely welcome and then take to our one bedroom superior apartment which was absolutely fabulous and exceeded our expectations. The whole resort is spotlessly clean and Maria,Denis and Georgia are so friendly and cannot do enough for you! We booked Bed and Breakfast which was lovely and fresh and the staff worked tirelessly to cater for all our needs Sun beds are so comfy and no need to set alarm clocks to get one, as they are plentiful at all times of the day! Now onto the views, oh my goodness I’ve never experienced anything like them absolutely gorgeous and well worth the hard climb up ‘cardiac hill’ to the resort! Taxis are readily available so no need to let the hill put you off walking down is absolutely fine but back up is a different story especially in the extreme heat. We had such a great time at Dionysos. Thankyou to everyone who helped make our holiday special! We will definitely return and truly recommend this wonderful accommodation Thankyou Maria, Denis and Georgia for looking after us!…
We went on a recommendation from my sister who has been a few times and I have to say I can see why they keep going back. The hotel has the most stunning views which can be seen from all the rooms. It felt so chilled and relaxed there’s no rush for breakfast or sun beds in the morning. The steep hill from the hotel into lassie was definitely a challenge, we could walk down but coming back up was hard so we would get a taxi back up definitely not good if you have walking difficulties. The staff are amazing we met Maria in reception who is lovely and very helpful. Maria and Denis who own the hotel are also lovely. We heard so much about them all so glad we got to meet them .The 2 ladies in the restaurant at breakfast also work in the pool bar at lunch are really hard working a credit to the hotel. First time we have been B&B, we had plenty to eat at breakfast including fresh baked muffins omg missing them already, but there is plenty of places to eat in lassie, different place every night. Thank you for a wonderful chilled relaxed holiday just what we needed. Hope we can go back with my sister next year so we can see more of the island as it was our first visit to kefalonia and hope it’s not our last.…
Our first time in Greece and it was more than we imagined at this hotel with stunning view. As part of a wedding party, it's safe to say we were all blown away by the hospitality. Arriving at different dates and times we all had a excellent experience from the actual wedding day being a stunning setting along with perfect service to enjoying the evenings all together. The pool is beautiful and clean along with the rooms. The food was excellent, including the drinks and choice. The resort felt very safe and serene. Hoping 2023 is on the cards! Thankyou all, it was a pleasure.
Just visited Dionysos Village Resort for 10 days for a friends wedding. Had a great time, the staff were really nice and polite. The pool was great for both adults and children, there was a wide variety for breakfast. The food at the bar was really good. The location its good but its up a hill, we walked but taxis are available at all time (for 7 euros). There are many restaurant in Lassi and in Argostoli (the capital) its 8 min in a taxi (for 8 euros). I would definitely recommend it. See you next year!!
Just left Dionysis after 11 day stay for a friends wedding. Can’t fault it at all. Fantastic staff and service. Very clean, had a truly great time with friends and would recommend to anyone, relatively basic rooms but more than adequate , could do with varying the breakfast occasionally that would be only slight criticism
