Our villas are located near the beach in a quiet area surrounded by vineyards, pistachios trees and olive trees. The rooms preserve the traditional style of the island and the private pools can offer you endless hours of relaxing and fun. The villas are suitable for large families, kids and large groups. There is a 2 minute walk to the beach which is not crowded and quiet. The cities are 1 or 2 km away and there are traditional restaurants near by. Kalypso houses can offer everything a family needs for an enjoyable relaxing calming and reviving vacation.

We stayed in the Elia House, and it was better than I expected! The highlight of this villa for me has to be the swimming pool and seating area! My husband and I, booked this villa and treated my bridesmaids and groomsman to stay here the day before my wedding in Santorini for 3 nights. We all really enjoyed ourselves, and If i do come back to Santorni, I will definitely be staying here again! I seriously cant get enough of the swimming pool area! The pool was huge, had plenty of sun beds, and plenty of tables and space. The pool had a float included which was nice, and I had also bought my own. Tina, the owner was fantastic and very helpful! Very lovely lady, and she even baked us delicious brownies one night! Transfer was included to and from airport which was very nice. Even though we were 5 minutes from the airport, I hardly noticed any plane noise. The beds were also very comfortable, and rooms were good sizes. Kitchen facilities was also very handy. The showers werent super hot, but after a hot day, its not really a big deal. If you like cats (like me) you'll be in cat heaven! Theres about 3 cats that roam around the villa, but be sure to make sure you close the doors as they do like to wander inside the house! One of our friends were having a nap inside, and we walked passed their room and found a cat snuggled up next to him which was hilarious! We all loved cats so we didnt mind too much. Perfect stay here, with a lovely host! Would highly recommend! Very close to the beach too!

We have spent a wonderful week at Kalypso House (Daphne). The swimming pool area and the terrace leave nothing to be desired for relaxed days and cosy summer evenings away from the more crowded and busy cities of Oia and Fira. Still the location is perfect for excursions to the whole island. The proximity to the airport had worried us before our trip but it ended up not bothering us at all. You can actually hear airplanes taking off and landing but it does not compromise a quit night’s sleep inside the house or relaxing days at the pool in the garden. Tina is a great host and a kind person who is always available and approachable who will provide you with all necessary information and little gifts. The house itself and everything inside and around it is extremely clean and neat and a daily housekeeping service (with laundry change on demand) provide all around feel-good atmosphere. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Kalypso House.

We were 2 couples that stayed at the Daphne House and there's nowhere else on the island we would have rather been. Konstantina was an AMAZING host, helping us arrange transfers, excursions, takeout, even a personal chef, Elena, who came to our villa to cook for us. She even brought in an anniversary cake especially made for us. She even took us to see her family's church which was outstanding. The black beach is 200 steps from the house and almost always empty of crowds, and Taverna Galina was almost just as close and delicious. There is a mini mart very close by to purchase staples and liquid refreshments. The villa is on the east end of the island so you need to travel a short distance to see a sunset. We saw the sunset..eh it was okay. But from the kalypso houses you can see the most gorgeous sunrise everyday in clear view over the Aegean Sea. It was breathtaking every morning. The accommodations were wonderful. The sheets were luxurious, the pool was refreshing. The outside was so quiet and relaxing that we had to muster up the enthusiasm just to go see other things. You can go to Fira and oia if you wish, we visited and no thank you. Everyone has no privacy and they are all on top of each other. The kalypso house is amazing. It is cleaned inside and out each day and is so quiet and romantic, there is no place else we would have rather gone. Thank you tina for an amazing week!

We had a fantastic stay at Kalypso Houses. We stayed for 4 nights and explored the entire islands as this place is conveniently located right in the middle of the island near the Airport. The place is very spaceous, the pool is huge, and the staff very friendly. The Elia House is large enough to accomodate 6 people comfortably. All in all, can't recommend it enough.

We stayed at the Daphne House villa from Aug 19-22 2017. We were a party of 6 adults & found the villa to be quite comfortable. Four of us stayed in the main part of the villa & 2 stayed in the studio that's attached. Kalypso Houses are located on the quiet side of the island; away from the tourist crowds & cruise ships that come in, so if you want peace & quiet, this is the place. There is a small market within walking distance & also a wonderful taverna (Galini) that has excellent food & friendly hospitable staff. Tina was extremely helpful in setting up a tour of the island, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Manos was very informative & patient as he drove us around giving us a brief history of the island & the villages that we visited. Maria the daily housekeeper was an added touch & certainly appreciated as she kept the villa spotless! Having our own private pool was really a plus & when we weren't touring that's where we stayed. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer so we could enjoy the pool even more. A big "thank you" to Tina for her wonderful, homemade Loukimades. They were absolutely delicious!! In summary, we had a wonderful time & would definitely return to this lovely villa.
