Detailed Reviews
We spent 7 wonderful days in October 2024, well taken care of by the staff.
The rooms are excellently maintained, daily change of bed linen and towels.
The bathrooms are very clean, beautiful and comfortable.
The location and price of the hotel are extremely suitable for people who prefer city tours because it is close to the capital Fira.
At the hotel you can enjoy quietness, peace, security, a swimming pool and for a modest fee - breakfast and drinks throughout the day.
The receptionist Emma speaks very good English.
She is always kind, responsive and ready to help in any situation.
She organized the best land and catamaran tours for us.
She arranged the fastest and most affordable taxi transportation for us.
Also recommended the best restaurants and shops nearby.

My room was very nice and has the pictures shown. In the room, there is plenty of space. The shower is really great and huge. Staff friendly and helpful.
One thing is the place is about 1km, downhill, from the bus station. So it is easy to reach the place at your arrival but during your stay, either you rent a car/scooter/quad or you walk...
But the place is quiet, safe and great to stay !!

Such an amazing place to stay in Santorini. The owners are lovely and always have a smile on their face, happy to help with anything. Its well located, if you have a car, if not it’s only a 20min walk to shops, restaurants and more. A beautiful view and a great pool area. The rooms are large and clean with fridge and table. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Would highly recommend Stavros Villas for your next stay in Santorini

We booked this property having first read the various reviews on Google and Booking as well as having seen the images of the rooms published on the property's website.
Once we arrived at the facility, the first thing we were asked was to pay the balance for the room (they didn't even give us the opportunity to leave our luggage first).
Once the payment was made, they gave us the keys indicating the room number (quadruple room no. 27).
We entered and our arms dropped. Compared to the images seen on the site, where the rooms are bright and well furnished, we found ourselves faced with a sparsely furnished room, with old furniture and iron beds, a refrigerator positioned at the side of the room, a two-door wardrobe complete with of cushions placed on the floor, no chest of drawers where you can place the linen... in short, completely the opposite of what we imagined.
Contrite, we went to speak to the girl who had checked in, explaining to her if it was possible to change rooms, as the one we had been given was nothing like the rooms advertised.
The answer was:
“I'm sorry, but all quadruple rooms are the same. The images on the site correspond to the doubles, which we have all occupied. I told the owner to change the photo but he doesn't want to."
Following this response, we had to adapt and keep the room they had given us.
The only positive note is the bathroom (it seems to have been redone a few years ago) and the cleanliness (when entering the room you can smell bleach).
Recommended for those with few demands, even if the price (from my point of view) is excessive (given the rooms they provide).

Five days before my arrival, I received an email canceling my reservation. I was informed that a 'group' needed my room, so they can no longer accommodate me. They did offer me a room in their other hotel, which they didn't bother to name. Obviously I wouldn't recommend staying at either hotel. Also, when I made the reservation I was told they only had one room left. Do the math.....

We travelled throughout Greece and Turkey and this was our only bad experience! Thanks to all the other places we stayed, but though best to write this as it was so bad. Upon check in and after saying no to rent a car from the owner "Stavros" - it went downhill. The owner's daughter is lovely, but the girl who works with her (also blonde but quite large and with a German accent) is the girlfriend of the car hire place and she was horrible and ruined our stay. She was incredibly rude. Upon check out she accused us of stealing a towel, using the hose to rinse our feet without permission and sold us a tour that was clearly not suitable for kids under 12 (ours are 5 so there is no mistaking the age). They have produced a German brochure which has used another hotel photos and not of this site and it's miles from anywhere - you cannot walk to any shops. It is sad to intentionally misguide people who have spent money to travel and have a few weeks off to holiday. Choose somewhere honest. Don't stay here.

I stayed at Stavros Villas in late May, and after searching through a variety of lodging options in Santorini, this ended up being the perfect spot. It was perfect for our budget (as we were college students ending a term abroad). We were picked up from the airport free of charge, and settled into a nice room with a view of the ocean. And the wifi was pretty functional. Stavros is situated a little outside of Fira (which we were worried about) but it ended up being a great location as it was very peaceful in the area, and the walk to Fira "town" was just up a few "hills". Steve and his daughters were able to help with ATV rentals which allowed us to get all around the island, which ended up being a lot cheaper (and more enjoyable) than taking busses around the island. On our last day Steve was also nice enough to take us to the port free of charge. It honestly was just such a great experience, especially since we were on a budget. The rooms were pretty decent, the floor did get wet a lot, because the shower wasn't that long (but just pack shower shoes and you'll be fine).
If I ever get a chance to go back to Greece, I'd make my way to Stavros.

Beautiful place, reasonable prices and Amazing EXCELLENT Customer service. Stavros and his daughters are very lovely. I will miss dearly Emmanuella. Such a hard working kid. Stavros is very blessed to have his daughters by his side. Stavros Villa offers laundry, manicure and pedicure services at a very affordable price. Rental cars or Atv. Spacious rooms, nice pool, and Free WiFi. Definitely will be visiting them again. Beautiful, Peaceful and Loveable Hotel to stay.

We loved it here so much. You made us feel like we were at home and family. You made our honeymoon the best that we could have ever asked for.
When we come back to Greece we will come back here!
This has been by far the best place that we have ever stayed.
Our original plan was to be here for only four nights which turned into nine nights because we loved it so much.
Thank you for having us to dinner with the family, that was so awesome to feel like part of your family.
Once again thank you for all so much.
The Amarican honeymooners!!
