Villa Manos was amazing! The staff and location were the highlight of the trip. Villa manos is in the perfect location to easily get the bus to all the main attractions in Santorini. A short walk takes you to Karterados where there is many restaurants and a supermarket. The pool is well maintained, but very cold but my partner made very good use of it 😂 the sun loungers are very comfortable. With being 27 weeks I had concerns about the trip however nothing was too much to ask for and the staff were amazing in making sure we were okay and had everything we needed. The hotel rooms were spotless and cleaned daily to a high standard. The restaurant was lovely, we mostly just ate breakfast here which was very filling and did us until dinner most days for a fair price. I would definitely recommend staying here and would 100% stay again if revisiting Santorini.

I loved this hotel. So far the best experience I had in Europe. I wanted to inform everyone that the earth is not shaking and there are no earthquakes . The room I booked seemed like an oasis, very very clean everyday. A very nice bar and restaurant next to the room, with very tasty choices. The breakfast was served with many choices and huge amount of food so I would recommend to book a room with breakfast. Everything was on point

A very beautiful hotel, very pleasant lunch/swimming area. It’s a family hotel and you can feel it. They are available, generous, smiling. They offered us a free coffee when we arrived, and that's just one example of how thoughtful they were. You can park your vehicle in front of the hotel, it’s very practical. The breakfast is plentiful and very good. The hotel is slightly away from the city (5 minutes by car) which makes it all the more pleasant because it is very quiet. Located in the heart of the island, this allows access to the north and south by car in around twenty minutes. In short, I highly recommend.

Firstly, we are always grateful for a roof over our head. However, where to begin…My wife and I were checked in for 3 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were escorted through the hotel only to be taken back out onto the road and shown our room which was literally on the road (see images). The location of this room was a thoroughfare for trucks, cars and buses all day and night.
Once we were in the room, we noticed there were 4 single beds, no kettle, no tea or coffee (as referenced on their website), in the bathroom you could smell the mould which seemed to be painted over and it was quite outdated (IMO). We were also positioned under the restaurant which we could hear the scraping of chairs each morning and evening.
Whenever we went to visit reception to ask simple logistical questions or requests, there was no one present and had to call a phone number.
In terms of the atmosphere, we felt like we were always being watched by staff and did not feel comfortable to even sit by the pool. After chatting with other guests, this was a similar feel we gathered from them also.
At check out, you guessed it! No one present at reception - SMH.
Oh yeah, can’t forget about the 21 euro tax we had to pay… in cash with no receipt, raising eyebrow.
Santorini was beautiful ☀️, this hotel was not.
✌🏼

Staying here now and this place is a real gem. I’m a Group Manager for hotels and restaurants and I rarely leave reviews but honestly you won’t be disappointed. It’s a boutique feel with amazing staff, the cocktails here are great. The food has all been really nice, we ordered croissants for breakfast and they make them fresh, the girls also ordered pancakes and waffles and they really enjoyed them too. It is very family friendly but also has a bit of a cool vibe to it also. The pool is a lovely size and if you want can use the pool until 1am, my little girls are amazed they can swim in the dark. The bar and food I believe is served until that time too (although we are all fast asleep by that time). It’s very mixed in nationalities which is also really nice. Great location as not far from anywhere and the hotel sorted a car rental within a few hours for us which I would recommend as the island is so small that you should get out and explore. Cleaner has been in every day and is great. If you like a coffee in the morning then bring a travel kettle as non in the room or cups etc but they will happily give you a take away one at bar from 8am. Also a note, pool towels are available from reception. Honestly don’t think twice about coming here, we’ve travelled the world and this is a great find x

Spent 4 nights at this lovely family owned hotel. The pool was crystal clear, and the food at the on-site restaurant was delicious. The proprietor was always on-site and constantly offered us free tidbits (wine, orange juice, and even glasses of ouzo). Location is near the bus stop with easy access to all the beaches and towns in Santorini. I highly recommend this place.

We recently stayed at this hotel with friends, the place is nice and clean and near the airport. The staff was friendly but they could use some better customer service to attract guests by providing free airport service since they are just 5 minutes from the airport and to charge less for their food. Also the towels are old and discolored and there was no hand soap and conditioner in the bathroom. However they did bring some soap when asked. They will sell you tours around the island but for more money and they did not provide us with receipts. I don't recommend eating there though. The owner of the restaurant is very nice but the food prices are high for what you get. You can walk few minutes to town and eat at Tabasco Restaurant, I do recommend their food. Too bad they don't even provide you with bottles of water. Free shuttle service to and from the airport, conditioner and soap, newer towels and water will make this hotel a Five start. You can't nickel and dime your guests and expect good results. I will not use them again.

No problems whilst staying here. Had some food and drinks on first night. Thought food was a little expensive.
Room was great. It was like a room the Flintstones would have lived in. Had a cave like decor. Shower was unusual as was the whole room. Quirky and nice. Kitchen surfaces and fridge but no plates, cups or cutlery was a little baffling.
Other people with us each had differing rooms so I guess you don't know what sort of room you will be getting here.
Staff left us to it while sitting by the pool. No hassling to buy anything. They left us alone to do our own thing. Not enough umbrellas for the amount of sunbeds. Every sunbed deserves an umbrella.
no 'Do not Disturb' signs on doors
Rocks for decoration by pool and many are dark and are a safety/trip hazard
when we came back in after maid she had always opened the window. we like aircon and we don't like spiders or lizards so we closed it every time. Our room paid for........our rules
No bins in living area
Sat outside room on a few nights drinking and chatting. Lovely place to be doing that. Great memories.
Grounds are kept very well. Very nice.
Yolo restaurant is very close by and is the nearest eaterie and it's very good and prices are good. If you risk walking the roads going right and walking past Yolo with traffic flying past you the Indian restaurant is the best we have ever been to.
Supermarket over the road from Indian and a Dominos nearby too.
No signs outside saying it's Villa Manos. We got a taxi there but if we had a car we may have driven past it
Here's hoping some of my feedback is acted upon.
Was a great stay. Don't know if my review indicates that but yes it was a great stay

Myself and my husband arrived at Villa Manos at end of April 2022 for a week holiday. This was supposed to be a 4 star accommodation however it was far from it. We were put into a small room, with two iron beds which were extremely uncomfortable and hard, we had one lumpy pillow each and worst of all there were scratchy, stained, woollen blankets on the beds. The room was dusty and had a horrible dusty flower display in the corner. We had not one cup, glass or piece of cutlery, no kettle, hairdryer or even soap in the toilet area. The towels were worn and greyish in colour. It was basic beyond anything I have stayed in. I spoke with 'Poppy' the next morning and her response to my concerns were that we had booked room only. She did show me another room which was a double bed but still no other facilities and was going to charge us an extra 120 euros for the room. In addition you couldn't walk safely into Fira centre as the roads were extremely busy and unsafe and hardly any walking path. The villa was remote and would have taken at least 30 mins to walk to Fira centre although a few restaurants and shops were about 15 mins away. On the positive side outside the room was lovely with a nice pool. The restaurant on site we thought was expensive and not great standard of food. We ended up going and finding other accommodation the next day, as did another family who had arrived at the same time as us. I would urge you to consider carefully staying in this place.

This hotel is great! It’s about 1 mile outside of Fira but the walk is easy and there is a bus stop 20 metres from the hotel, so location and accessibility is perfect. The hotel staff are lovely and helpful. The room was very clean and really nice, had everything we needed. The pool area was lovely. The photos online of this hotel don’t do it justice. For the price we paid we thought it was excellent value. Don’t hesitate to book.

I am not sure to be honest. As you my have read in my review, it took me 3 days to get the room I had requested...so I would definitely email the owner, being very specific in what your needs are...and specifiy what kind of beds you require. I would print this off, and take it with you.
Eventually I got a double bed, with a view...of a wall....this is true of many of the rooms here. You may wish to ask about this too.
Good luck !
If you are coming by ferry.....when you arrive at the port you will have to make your way up to the Town Centre either by the funicular....or by the donkeys that walk up and down the 500 plus big winding steps. I would not personally ever use the donkeys...as I have issues with using donkeys to carry so many people...and heavy luggage up from there..they are often overburdened...and being a lover of donkeys just do not think it is 'right. The funicular runs reguarly, and it won't cost you much to take that up to Fira. From there, a taxi ride to Villa Manos will cost you 10 euros.....a bus...(easy to find the bus terminal) is just 1.80... from where you will be dropped by bus, only a 7 minute....then you have to walk down a hill...not TOO far....to get to the hotel..With no luggage it is a piece of cake...depends how much luggage you have.
In general buses from Villa Manos are fantastic...1.80 for as far as you want to go....one way is to Fira...the other way runs to Kamari beach...every 20-minutes until around 11pm. Great service.
Good luck...enjoy your stay there...I loved it...hope you can find my restaurant reviews on trip advisor also...!!! Fantastic coffee shop, ideal for breakfast, a short walk away from Manos..
(PS...if you get the bus...just ask the conductor who takes your 1.80's...to tell you when to get off for the Villa...they are very good at that....and the road facing you is the one leading down to the Villa...impossible to miss...!)
