Just returned from a 12 night stay at Dias with my family of 4. This was our 6th time in Stalis, each visit staying at different accommodation.

Overall we were very satisfied with the accommodation. It is very clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. We liked the location which was very quiet, but it may not be suitable for people who don't have the mobility required for the 10-15 minute walk to/from the resort centre. The hotel has a nice bar and a lovely menu for food and drinks during the day. The bar stays open later into the evening and, even though our room overlooked the pool/bar area, we were not disturbed by noise at all. There is free WiFi throughout the premises and we found it reliable throughout our stay. The pool is small and sunbed space is limited although we managed to get space by the pool on the few occasions we tried.

The rooms are very comfortable and a good size. However, I do not believe that this is a genuine 4 star establishment. Some of the fit and finish within the rooms is looking a bit tired. I would not have mentioned this at all were this rated as a 3 star.

Before booking here you should be aware of the extra costs. Air Con is chargeable at €10/night for one unit, and €15/night for 2 units. The Greek tourist tax (durability fee) is €7/night/room for 4 star accommodation. The safe is €2/night. Overall we paid €280 on arrival for these extras.

Just after half way through our holiday one of the air con units broke. We were given a couple of fans while we waited for the maintenance man to arrive and were offered a move to a similar room when he couldn't fix the A/C.

There are many good points about this establishment. We would definitely consider returning.

Just leaving this Gem of a hotel and all sad that our holiday has come to an end.
Upon arrival around midnight we were greeted by the amazing comedian barman that is George and shown to our rooms. He then invited us down to the bar which was a blessing after a long day of travelling.

Having stayed in Stalis 11 times down the other end we fancied Dias apartments as it was away from the main strip but still close by if you want to head that way (10min walk)

Recommended trying a resto nearby called Romantic corner for the view and the food is great.

We paid for a room with a sea view and wow what a view it was (room 203)

It has been 35c - 40c throughout the week and buying the air con is highly recommended as do not know how we would of survived the nights without it.

The pool is a little small which we were concerned about after booking but it wasn't overly busy. We were able to get sun beds each day without issue and actually found ourselves sitting at the tables under the shelter when not in the pool. But the pool is great!

The cleaners work relentlessly to keep the entire place clean and are very friendly to greet you around the grounds.

Chats with George late into the nights gave us so much entertainment. His witty banter is second to none, really made our holiday :)

Now for Maria who cooks everything homemade.... Myyyyy gosh amazing food! (And each dish plenty of it)
The Dias burger is a must, the pizza is great and the steak sandwich just wow!!!!
Maria is very passionate about her cooking and you understand why when it tastes so good.
Be sure to try her choices of breakfasts!

And finally we must mention Fofe the owner, what a lovely lady who you can see is working very hard all day to meet the demands of holidaymakers and will go out of her way to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Always smiling 😁

Be sure to make the effort with this amazing team and they will give back tenfold!

Pretty sure we will be returning next year 😉

This is our last day of 10 staying in the Dias apartments and we have had an excellent holiday. The hotel is brilliant, staff are all really friendly and made us feel right at home, a big thank you to George’s team for making our stay so good. The room was huge with everything you need, air conditioning is a must for €6 a day however but worth it.
We stayed in room 204 with the most amazing sea views, I recommend getting up early at least one morning (about 6:20) to see the sunrise it’s stunning, not bragging but we think our room was the best in the hotel.
Pool area was kept nice and clean and had a great relaxed atmosphere, no need to put towels on the beds because there was always plenty for everyone, nice chilled out music playing while you relaxed.
Food served behind the bar was reasonably priced and very delicious, I recommend the steak sandwich, chips were proper fresh cut and very tasty. Drinks were also a good price and the beer is served in a frosted glass which is great.
Only a short 10 minute walk to the centre of stalis where all the bars and restaurants are, 5 mins to the beach. We ate out a bit and every meal we had was excellent, I recommend restaurant creta for traditional Greek cuisine, you won’t be disappointed. We have really enjoyed our first visit to Stalis and are already talking about coming back and staying at Dias apartments again.
Please don’t take any notice of the absolute idiots writing negative reviews about the place cos they are all talking absolute rubbish, some people just like to twist for the sake of it.
Brilliant holiday made even better by the staff at Dias apartments, keep up the good work and see you again soon, sad to leave !

Spotlessly clean and friendly apartments
We had a 1 bed Seaview apartment.
The air con in the main room was great, however in the bedroom due to the position of the unit it did not cool the area where the bed was which left some nights uncomfortable to sleep.
Also in the main room there were no plug sockets near the bed only in the kitchen area.
We have been to these apartments 3 times and the "bits abroad" was the worst I have ever seen. Towels were put on the beds the night before. I tried several times to get beds by the pool but even at 7am couldn't then people didn't come down until late morning. We therefore ended up at the beach 10 out of 11 days. The last day we did get beds by the pool however they were really uncomfortable. If you are looking for a base would recommend, however if you are looking for a pool holiday would suggest you try somewhere else.

I don't know why Jet2 list these as luxury studios as it gives a false impression of the place. There are four stars on the front of the building but we thought it should only be three stars. In luxury 4 star hotels you would expect maid service at least every other day, not every three days as we had. To be fair there seemed to be only one cleaner who never stopped working, so don't know where the second one mentioned in reviews was. You would also not expect to have to put your own sheets on the bed when they were changed. You would also expect all the towels to be decent quality, but some of ours were so worn and threadbare you could see through them when they were held up to the light. Dias apartments' idea of a fully equipped kitchen is a bit different to ours. Not that we wanted to do any cooking but there was no microwave and the only 'cooker' was one electric hob that you took down from a cupboard and plugged in. There were no wine glasses, only two mismatched tumblers, until I asked George at the bar for one.

The wardrobes had a really musty smell which wasn't pleasant.

On the plus side the beds are the comfiest we have ever had in Greece, and the location is ideal with a ten minute walk to town and the beach.

If you are coming to stay at Dias make sure you book a sea view or pool view or you may end up in what one guest we spoke to described as a broom cupboard with nowhere to hang your clothes, or a 'basement' with only a stone wall to look at. We were in Room 210 which had lovely views of the sea and the mountains, but if we were going to stay here again and there were no sea view rooms left I would book somewhere else.

Having said all this we had a lovely holiday and Stalis is really nice.

We stayed here for 10 nights at the beginning of September, we had a maisonette with a sea view, the views are stunning and the hotel is in a quiet location, we paid for the air conditioning and this was definitely needed. Out of the 10 nights we only managed to get round the pool on 1 day as people were putting towels on the sun beds in the early hours when coming back from their night out so when we got up there were no beds available! We spent everyday on the beach so never used the facilities at the hotel bar. These are definitely not “luxury” as advertised and would say they make a nice base but if you like to relax round the pool I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

This was our 2nd stay at Dias Apartments and we were not disappointed. Fofi and George are amazing and so friendly and helpful and can't do enough to make your stay perfect. The 2 ladies who do the cleaning do not stop and are so lovely with a smile for everyone. They keep the place spotless. The sea view rooms are massive and have the most stunning views of the sunrise.

The swimming pool is lovely and clean and we never struggled to get a sunbed. There are no problems with towels blocking sunbeds which we have had at other hotels. The pool bar has a comfy and shaded seating area and George behind the bar is very funny and always joking about. The lunchtime bar snacks are delicious and the Club sandwiches and Pizza are very tasty.

With Covid in mind they always made us feel safe with hand sanitiser etc and the overall cleanliness of the hotel being kept at a high standard.

It is a short walk to the bars and restaurants of Stalis which takes you along the sea front and is only about a 5 minute stroll.

We have already booked for a week in June and 2 weeks in September 2022!!

We would highly recommend this hotel for couples or families for a relaxing, comfortable stay.

Brilliant location very chilled hotel staff a delight and very welcoming, rooms beautiful and very comfortable, breakfast was very good three choices, continental, American and healthy are delicious. Coffee and tea also served with breakfast. They also had lunch menu and the food was really good I had tuna salad. We were ground floor so we had a terrace at the front which was lovely as you got the late sun going down. The hotel is only a 10 min walk from the stalis centre and the beach which was great for us

Great communication done by the owners, was emailed the day before asking what time we would land from our flight, and they waited for us to arrive, we were delayed coming in but it wasn’t a problem to them and amazing greeting felt at home the second we got there. Food was lovely, room was lovely and spacious, air con was amazing, cost 10€ a night but was so worth it to get a good night sleep, had timer on air con and all, would recommend and book again.
Pool the first week was quiet and easy to get a lounger the second week wasn’t as easy due to more people arriving but you could still get a lounger not a problem, they put more out as it got busier so was always space for everyone.

On arrival, we were met by a lovely lady called Foffee. Who advised us not to fully unpack as we were moving rooms the following day. We liked the room we were first put in. It was big and spacious, but we were happy to move. The 2nd room was a massive two room apartment. A double bed in the main bedroom. Lovely furniture. The 2nd room was a kitchenette, which included a single bed. With a bathroom to the side. Which also had a balcony over the reception. (We didn't hear noise on an evening) This had a beautiful sea view!! So we were very pleased with the room change.
That evening, we were met at the bar by George. Whst a nice man. Very chatty and witty.
Great bar area to have your refreshments and to socialise. We had a few games of pool on an evening before heading out. (George I did win Richard 🏆 😂)
The apartments at Dias are well equipped. Very clean. Good decor. Well maintained. Lovely furniture.
We had a wonderful time here this summer and will definitely be back.
I scored this 4/5 because I felt that some of the sunbeds needed replacing as they were the old metal and mesh dedign, and some were broken. I'd have hate to have laid on one for it to have collapsed. Apart from that, everything else was spot on.
Big shout out to our cleaner. What a lovely lady. Towels were designed regularly, and a beautiful Swan created from them for us. It's the special touches that matter.
Well done to all at Dias. Your hospitality was simply the best.
We loved it and will certainly be back.
