We stayed for 2 weeks in September 2019 and this was a gem of a hotel. Staff brilliant and so helpful, George behind the bar always had a joke and a smile. The atmosphere is so laid back and relaxing. Sunbeds always available and lovely clean pool. Rooms massive and cleaned daily by the very friendly cleaning ladies who are always smiling. We've stayed in many hotels in Greece and this is the only one we've been in with proper shower cubicles. Room 205 is special with amazing views over the pool and out to sea. Already requested it for this year! Ideally located a short stroll from Stalis bars and restaurants and the beach but still in a quiet and relaxing spot. It was our anniversary when we stayed and I requested flowers and wine and we got a massive bouquet of roses and champagne and chocolates. We loved it so much we have just booked for 2020.

Recently got back from an 11 night stay with my husband and can honestly say that we had a lovely experience at the Dias hotel and apartments. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Aris and George who were the main staff on Duty and kept us entertained . Fofi who owns the hotel along with her brother Rousses (never had pleasure of meeting him) is pleasant and helps out with her team,to keep things running smoothly. George showed us to our apartment on arrival helping me with my case. More then happy with our room, spacious and lovely sea/pool view,(came with our own pet lizard for a few days!!).Did not have breakfast there so cannot comment on that but the home made chips with cheese and bacon were yummy!! The whole complex is friendly and in an ideal position as its not too far from the centre of Stalis but far enough away for it to be quieter.Me and my husband liked our little walks down into stalis.

Just got back from a week staying at the Dias hotel & apartments in Stalida Crete and can honestly say we thought the apartments were lovely. I was travelling with my husband and parents and we had 2 rooms between us. For the price you pay I don't think you can expect more, if you want 5* hotel you book one. The apartment was cleaned everyday and was very spacious, we had a sea view and overlooked the pool. We didn't have breakfast included so can't comment on that, we did have lunch a couple of times and it was very nice. Our room had all mod cons you expect, tv, microwave, kettle, toaster and hairdryer, wifi, which was very good, i only used kettle and toaster as on holiday but still nice if needed. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and the strip where there are an immense choice of restaurants, bars and shops, lots off traditional Greek restaurants amongst them. The pool was a reasonable size and very clean. The small team of staff who work there were all very nice and helpful, their English was very good and they were all really friendly and helpful. The two barman George and Aris were brilliant, very welcoming and friendly, we had many laughs with both of them. The young lady Fofi who was on reception and checked us in, also worked the bar, cooked, cleaned and worked with housekeeping turned out to be one of the owners. She was lovely and friendly. On our final day we checked out about 10.30am to go and watch the rugby so had a whole day to kill as our flight was 11.25pm. We returned to the hotel after the rugby and lunch and both my parents were getting very tired, my mum decided to lay on a lounger and try to sleep as we still had many hours before getting our transfer to the airport, the barman George came out and gave us a key to an empty room and told us Fofi wanted us to have it so my parents could rest properly and shower if we wanted to. I thought this was a lovely and kind gesture and would personally like to thank Fofi for her kindness. All 4 of us found the Dias to be a lovely place to stay, a family run business where they will do what they can to help if possible. Thanks to all at the Dias.

Great base for a holiday in stalis. Just at the edge of the resort with a ten minute walk to the start of the strip. Pool area lovely. Pool snacks were amazing - the bruschetta was delicious. The family who run this hotel were really friendly. Our room was huge and had everything we needed. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel to be fair as we tend to spend our time on excursions or at the beach, but enjoyed an evening drink on the balcony with some amazing views. Would highly recommend.
