We visited the place August with all inclusive accommodation.
Advantages: There was cleanliness everywhere. The beds were very comfortable. The central restaurant served comfortably and organized, had variety and renewed everything exhausted. The staff was very friendly. There was private parking with internal entrance to the hotel. You are allowed to arrive and make use of the facilities before the check-in which takes place around 14.00. No one's bothering you for nothing. You're lost in the crowd.
Disadvantages: In several places there was a bad smell that I couldn't identify where it came from. The main restaurant was only open for 1.5 hours at noon and its air conditioning was not very effective. There was enough crowding in the pools and adjacent sunbeds. The sun loungers on the private beach were paid and covered the entire area of the beach. In the showers of the water park we saw cockroaches, fire lamps, phone calls in the showers whispering water everywhere, there were no hangers for the towels. 2 of the 3 pools did not have a lifeguard. The applause had no wipes. The TV did not play anything in Greek or subtitled, so it was smart to connect to the internet. Evening events were indifferent. The brochure with the rules and the hotel map did not exist in Greek.
In general it is a place to relax and relax. It's not for fun.

The village is very well kept and clean.
There are 3 swimming pools of which 1 is a small water park.
The swimming pools are perhaps a little small compared to the number of guests but fortunately the sea is right in front of the village.
The beach is not included but the costs are really low.
The sea is very beautiful, beautiful colours.
The food is good, a special mention deserves the chef of the Italian corner Christian who with his excellent cuisine always makes you feel at home.
Fun entertainment, a different show every evening.
For those with children the mini club is the best, here too a mention to the entertainer Camilla who takes care of the children with her kindness and helpfulness.
Outside the village there are many clubs and therefore it is also suitable for children.
With a few euros you can take a taxi to go dancing.
The only small flaw for those who love being in the pool: get up early because foreigners occupy the sunbeds despite the ban; never mind we Italians like the sea!!
Overall therefore very good

I am very pleased with my stay at the Cactus Beach hotel. We were with 2 children and I highly recommend this hotel for families, 80% of the hotel guests were German, so you can easily communicate in German, which was an additional advantage for us as we live in Germany on a daily basis. The food was varied, great selection and very tasty 😋 everyone could find something for themselves. The hotel surroundings are beautiful, lots of greenery and flowers. Close to the beach, crossing the street, paid sunbeds, but you could also use them for a shorter period of time without paying ☺️ additional attractions on the beach, jet skis, banana, sofa, paraglider. The hotel is located in the city center, with a street full of restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and grocery stores. Very nice service. The only thing I can complain about is the poorly cleaned shower 🚿 only washed from the outside, the cafeteria is very clean. I recommend it for families with children.

**Review for Hotel Caktus Beach**

I booked an all-inclusive holiday at Hotel Caktus Beach for 9 days, but since my arrival there have been only disappointments.

First of all, there was no room to put the suitcases in. We were promised early check-in, but this was even delayed beyond regular time.

The room was extremely small, and neither the lights nor the outlets worked. For the safe you have to pay extra despite the all-inclusive stay, and then it was broken in our room. The beds are hard as stone and offer no comfort whatsoever.

Lunch was very sparse and there was hardly any choice of alcoholic drinks. The bad thing about the beverage selection is that despite the availability of good beverage brands such as Jack Daniels and Heineken, they are not available in an all-inclusive package, but only for an additional fee. In addition, there is no service for beverage dispensing at all. Changing bath towels also requires paying, and towels are only changed every two to three days. Even at express request, the towels were not brought into the room. Instead of a conventional shower gel, hand soap was used. Even weighing the suitcases and using the lockers cost extra. In addition, you are not allowed to choose the seats in the restaurant, which further limits the comfort.

We were allowed to use a restaurant twice, but despite registering five days in advance we were only granted access to a restaurant.

Despite the ban, the loungers are constantly occupied for hours without actually being used, which significantly restricts access to comfortable places by the pool. The sunbeds on the beach with umbrella cost 15 euros and are NOT included in the all-inclusive package.

No matter what service is offered, it just seems to be about generating extra money. Employees appease any problems and claim such situations occur everywhere.

All in all, staying at Hotel Caktus Beach was a huge disappointment. I would definitely not recommend it.

We had the best time here. The hotel is very beautiful, great and clean rooms. A lot of greens, trees and flowers. Staff is very friendly and nice. They have great food, a lot of choiches. They have the best animation team, a lot of activities - sports, dancing, children animations. Animators are very kind and friendly. They have two pools and great beach. Three bars are open through the day and they offer free drinks, snacks, fruit and sendwiches. The hotel area is big and near to beach.

Holiday with 2 children - 3 and 5 years old, overall impression very good except for small flaws. If you don't look for mistakes, the vacation is great for me.
Negatives - the animations are very very very weak! Food excellent. Decent accommodation. The initial shock of the crickets passed - there was no buzzing at night.
Staff outside the main restaurant bored. It is not all inclusive in the true sense of the word, but if your goal is not just to eat, you will always find something.
The beach is weaker, but it's not terrible, it's smaller and the sunbeds are paid for. The sea is shallow for a long time, the waves are often big.
We enjoyed it, it's a decent hotel, very good for us (small negatives see above :) )

Our flight was cancelled on saturday evening, and after having a rubbish stay at our previous hotel we called catcus beach to see if they’d have availability. They did and were more than helpful! We had an amazing room, with breakfast and lunch included.
We weren’t sure when we would be able to get home and they said we could stay another evening if needed. We booked our new flight that evening, and the management let us stay in our hotel until 6pm and gave us dinner which worked out great!
Couldn’t recommend them enough, they really made our stressful day a lot better!
Thank you!

I suggest to everyone this amazing place. The animation staff ,both Alpitour and International one , are really amazing guys (Pasquale; Peter; Valeria; Alessandro the best for adult activities and Marta and Maira that were so sweet within our kids) the structure is amazing as well and food really nice. What I can say more..an amazing holiday that will remain everytime with me.
