The Monomach is a one of the many old villas of Bad Ems and has been sumptuously restored, furnished with high end tech equipment. The furniture is gold painted brocade baroque style. This was a lovely hotel, but the pictures are a bit deceiving - - - Bad Ems is definitely a city, not a small country town, so if you are looking for a rural, quiet and bucolic setting, this may not be your cup of tea. It takes a bit of work to find this place, and when you do,... More

A hidden gem. World class chef, superior service, immaculate and tastefully ornate. This property is located in the quaint spa town of Bad Ems just off the beaten bath of tourist rhine villages.
