We were there over Christmas, and I thought the chalet was absolutely super!. The food and wine were fantastic, everyone really helpful and I really enjoyed my holiday. It's a very comfortable chalet and I loved Venosc. Hope to visit again!
Located in the beautiful village of Venosc with stunning views!

Thanks for your interest in Chalet Morville. It is probably our most common question regarding accessing the pistes. It is actually really quite easy. The telecabine is within walking distance of the chalet, but we nevertheless offer a shuttle service to and from it each day, which only takes a couple of minutes. The telecabine itself takes 8 minutes, bringing you up to resort. From there it is a 5 minute walk to the lower beginner pistes. We often have families with young children stay with us, and we've got an arrangement with a couple of the ski shops which are on the beginner pistes which have lockers to keep your skis or which offer a concierge service. These shops are also right beside the ski school meeting places, so it is an easy matter to walk in your normal shoes to these shops to pick up skis and boots and then ski off from there to ski school or up the mountain. So no need to do any walking in ski boots - or carrying your kids skis! Hope that helps! We have a photo on our website which shows the distance between Venosc and the main resort area if that helps you visualise where we are actually located.
As to what the resort has to offer, it is best for intermediates, as there are lots of wide blue and red runs. For the beginners there are beginner slopes at resort level, and also up at 2100m, which means there should always be good snow to learn on. For the experts, there is lots of "between the pistes" off-piste skiing, as well as some great unpisted black runs.
Hope that helps!
Sue and Jules
