Hotel Escapade is a treasure. It is a small family run hotel with many personal touches, has beautifully designed rooms and a charming pool garden and breakfast terrace, and it is located in area which offers many and varied activities. The attached restaurant offers cuisine of a high standard and there are other interesting restaurants in the local area. We...

A silent hotel hidden from a little harbor but stunning view from pool area and from our room. Actually the pool was large enough to swim instead of just bathing. The host showed our room personally. Breakfast was served by a good waiter and it was excellent.

Wonderful unexpected hotel hidden in a calm small habour of Le Pradet. For French conditions this hotel is excellent. Didn't see all rooms but I had one of the bigger ones. I had an amazing view over the pool to the sea. The beach isn't far away. Very clean and calm place. Perfect for a little weekend break! This one...

The easy going hospitality, breakfasts, large clean room and especially the pool were all excellent. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating, and whose English was much better than my French. We stayed on a half board basis, eating superb food every evening at the associated restaurant La Chanterelle. The local house pale rosé wine should not be missed. The...

It's hard to fault this place and I don't intend to do so. La patronne was charming and efficient. The pool was a delight, with its own resident cat. The room was nice and comfortable. I should probably be more ecstatic -- as was the tourism agent in Toulon who raved and raved. Still, it wasn't a bargain. In fact,...

The owner, Madame Beckmann-Perrot, made us extremely welcome, our bedroom was not only spotlessly clean but it smelt lovely! The pool area is well maintained, the location is maybe a little tricky to find first time but it is right by the tiny marina and beach in Oursinieres so nice for an evening stroll after dinner, which was delicious. Great...

There are a lot of very nice features in this hotel: nice, spacious rooms, good beds, beautiful swimming pool. A few minuses as well: the nearby beach is really quite limited and the service is friendly but not quite to the standards expected for the price (390 euros for the family suite). Overall a nice experience but we will probably...

This hotel's clean and pleasant rooms, helpful and patient owner, discrete staff and excellent catering are just around the corner from the seafront and the small beaches that edge the hottest part of France. The very close Hyeres airport is a delight compared to leaving any British terminal and Marsielles, Caraquelle and Porquerolle are a short trip away. Corine made...

A quiet, small, well kept hotel in a leisurely village by the sea, where the host really makes an effort to make you feel welcome. What more are you seeking? Perhaps some nice food? They have got that as well in the hotel restaurant. A first class place to relax.

I stayed at L'escapade with some colleagues this February and even though we were in the off season we were very well taken care of. Very nice clean and big rooms. Nice views. And the host Corinne is a great pleasure to have as a host. I would love to stay here again some day.

“Same advise as for all hôtels: the cheapest room cannot be the best. I took the biggest and loved it!”

“You know, in most hotels we were told: "Well, we've just got this one place left. It happens to be a suite." Yeah, right. Expensive. We never knew if this was true. At Hotel Villa de l'Olivier in Cannes we saw no one else. We had ourselves talked into taking a suite (small discount) which was so-so. Sometimes it works not reserving a room. Sometimes one wonders.”
