We stayed at Hotel Le Cosy because we had an early ferry crossing the next morning. Although a little run down, the hotel is quite quirky and we had no complaints for the price we paid. Our room had recently been refurbished and was clean although the shower wall attachment in the bathroom was broken. As we arrived late, we... More

This is a cheapish hotel where it's OK to stay for one night, e.g. when you come off the ferry. Would not stay any longer. The room was OK but the bathroom had walls stained with damp. You also have to bear in mind that the reception is not open late in the evenings so you have to let them... More

Poor quality but expensive accommodation. Very dated and basic. Staff unhelpful and customer service lacking. No lift and they put the guests they see as less important (ie profitable) in rooms on high floors. No consideration given to those with difficulties walking and carrying luggage. Really would not recommend at all - there are loads of better hotels locally. Avoid!

This place is a bit run down to be honest, but the pricing is just right and the location is great. Staff was very friendly and wifi worked great. Breakfast was a bit small, but still worth it. Rooms could use a touch up and the doors let in a lot of sound but still: value and location is great!

We have stopped at this hotel for15+ years, when it went by its old name (Le Chalet). It's a clean establishment with good bathroom etc. The beds however are sadly cheap and very uncomfortable, all staff have left the premises by 6pm, which we found a bit strange as was closing the bar at 6 even though we were still... I booked this hotel as we were traveling up through France to catch the early morning ferry from Ouistreham. So didn't know the area. The hotel is a great little old French style hotel. They are bringing the rooms up to a modern standard. We are on the second floor which looks down the local street, to all the shops... More

stayed for one night as we has an early ferry. Its in a great location for food and also has parking. It is incredibly basic but also incredibly cheap and clean. We arrived after hours, so no staff available, but were given full details via SMS on room number and entrance and wifi code. very smooth and easy.

Booked a room here for two and separate room for three children on booking.com late evening in February and was happy with 50 euros per room. The receptionist waited for our arrival gave us door code and importantly for children wifi code and the organized a table for five across the road at a local restaurant. Hotel is a little... More

This is a budget hotel, and if you don't mind an average room, in an average B & B then this might be okay, but I like comfort. The bathroom floor had been flooded on more than one occasion and the toilet was cracked and leaning so it felt very risky! The breakfast was okay, but I would not stay... More

Whilst very handy for the ferry, which is why we were staying, this is a very basic budget hotel with little in the way of trimmings. For us the experience was marred by being at the front of the hotel. The night life in Ouistreham goes on until the early hours and the noise could only be dimmed by closing... More
