Stayed at hotel in a last minute booking. Room was very clean and basic, French TV only. Full bathroom and spotless. Dinner was superb, I have food allergies but the chef pulled out all the stops and cooked me something which was not on the menu, delicious. We did not have breakfast as we had an early boat to catch.... More

Wonderful to check into a friendly character hotel - excellent welcome, great restaurant and breakfast buffet. Easy to walk to main street and beach. Comfortable & clean room at a very reasonable price..

This is a very convenient stopover to/from ferry (Ouistreham to Portsmouth). The staff are very friendly and helpful (speak English), breakfast good and rooms clean and comfortable. Will accept dogs for a small fee. Only downside, parking can be difficult as not a huge car park. I have used this small hotel 4 times now and will continue to do... More

We found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the accommodation fine for a stop over. It is an old building with the inevitable creaks in the floorboards but the interior decor and the bathroom fittings are all up to date and very good. The entrance to the car park is VERY narrow and we drove straight past it... More

The owners really knows what good food is and is very nice. Wide variety of dishes and good wine card. Not too much decorum and a great spirit. Room are ok. A little more decoration would be great but the food offset it. Ideal location next to the beach with a parking

The best of all in this hotel is the seawie and the nice service we got there. Its of course close to the sea. The girls in the reception were very helpful. Parking just outside. The room was Ok for one night We was situated on the top of the house and there was no lift. Nice bar with wonderful... More

I stayed at this hotel twice, because it was easy to get to from the ferry port. On arrival the staff was friendly and couldn't be more helpful. I was allowed to take my bike (which is hand built by myself and irreplaceable) to my room, so a good night's sleep was had. On the subject of sleep, the bed... More

This was previously called the San George and recently changed its name and decor. Food is always excellent. It's very convenient for the ferry, dog walking on the beach, comfortable bed if that works better time wise. Service is excellent too. BUT....if you are a bit of a foodie, you are probably rather into your wine. Do not be surprised... More

Yes, it's a bit tired - as some have stated! But, it's fine... Clean enough, well placed! I was given a warm welcome by Bridget on the front desk - impeccable English! She was also v helpful in suggesting a nearby good restaurant! (Even offered to book it!) I was offered their last room on the top floor - a... More

This hotel is a hotel of two halves! The reception and restaurant are very clean and modern with excellent decor. The food in the restaurant was excellent, typical French cuisine with very good service. What a pity we had to eat our meal with our coats on as there appeared to be no heating and the temperature outside was at... More
