Amazing spot, the ultimate luxury of nature unspoiled, a healthy food and excellent service. Very difficult to find but this is also part of the fun. The beach is out of this world, so are the bergeries. A must go address! You feel like you landed on the Corsica of the early 20th century.

I came here for a wedding with my wife and a bunch of friends and we stayed in one of the Villas on the estate. Initially we thought that it was crazy the distance in between the reception and each Villa and also the distance from the villa to the beach, but the truth is. The location is designed to... More

Domaine du Murtoli was as wonderful as we had hoped for in the sense of being in gorgeous surroundings and staying in a very private, charming and well equipped shepherd's hut. Our view of the sea was lovely, and it was a treat to wake up to the sound of birds everywhere and see our breakfast basket being tiptoed in... More

We stayed here the first week of May. And it was just amazing. The domaine is covering more than 25 square kilometers and has less than 20 rental houses/huts on it, 3 restaurants, a golf course, and lots of forest, green, maquise (the local Corsican shrubbery that is almost impossible to penetrate. It has beautiful beaches and amazing hills. And... More

My husband and I fulfilled a dream and stayed at Domaine de Murtoli a year ago the last few days of May, just before the mandatory week long stay kicked in June 1.We stayed in one of the duplexes closest to the sea. There was a short sweet path to the beach. We explored ruins, photographed the amazing landscapes and watched baby... I agree with some of the other reviewers, it may not be everyone's cup of tea - but it certainly was ours. Its shabby chic meets Landmark Trust - and definitively more chic than shabby. After getting up at 4am and traveling for 10 hrs we were quite fed up - but after 10 minutes on the beach and a... More

I am not sure I can find the right words to define exactly the extraordinary moments I enjoyed at Murtoli but it is by far in Europe one of the best place ever on the mediteranean see. Murtoli is amazing from the beach to the houses which have all the modern comfort you are looking for. The decoration perfectly matches... More

I did not stay at this property but was invited to visit and spent several hours inspecting all, aspects of the estate. It is simply exquisite. The natural surroundings, forests, and beach are lovely. Being a lover of all things traditional, I was impressed by the restoration of the old farmhouses and the authentic way they went about the project. There... More

It was a long trip - from LAX to Nice, overnight in Toulon, ferry to Bastia and then to the Domaine Murtoli. We arrived at our abode (the A Muredda) mid-afternoon and experienced a taste of what Paradise must be like. The residence overlooked a pastoral valley, with a small pool, and lounge chairs under olive trees. The gentle Mediterranean... More

Warning, if you are lucky enough to go, there will be no forgetting the magic that is Domaine de Murtoli. That said, it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for those with an open mind, hold on to your heart! Having enjoyed Domaine de Murtoli for the past three summers, and now going back for a forth, I... More
