In Southern Corsica, between Sartène and Bonifacio, Murtoli offers a unique place extending over 2500 hectares of unspoilt nature along a wild coast, between the sea, the scrubland and the mountains. Domaine de Murtoli is an agrotourism concept combining luxury, space and privacy. As a guest, you are welcomed in the heart of an authentic Corsica among its 20 shepherds houses and mansions restored from the 17th century and its luxury hotel of a dozen suites with the intimate soul of a Corsican village square. The villas offer a daily hotel service. Each dwelling has its own private pool, or even a hammam for some residences while the hotel offers a dedicated swimming pool. Open from April to January, Murtoli gives the opportunity to experience Corsica differently depending on the season. The Corsican art of living comes naturally together while staying at Murtoli. Enjoy cooking at home or a catering service delivered to your villa, but experience also 3 restaurants opening along the seasons, each offering its own identity and atmosphere: the Grotto, the Beach and the Farm table, which is even Michelin-starred with the chef Mathieu Pacaud during the summer season. In this spectacular site, enjoy so many diverse activities for all: 12-hole golf course, dedicated serviced beach, sea fishing, hunting, horse riding, wine tasting, Corsican cooking classes, archaeological and botanical walks, and even a fully equipped seminar room for anyone who wishes to combine work and leisure.
Difficult to find faults in taste whether in the decoration of the rooms, the terraces, the furnishings, and the tables... in the restaurant “la table de la ferme” alone For the moment still open... (the season is just starting)... the table offers very successful seasonal dishes.. and tasty the "green" risotto is particularly interesting as are the linguine with langoustines..., the strawberry desserts , and lemons leave an unrivaled freshness at the end of the meal... the young staff throughout the meal pay particular attention to the guests without being intrusive... the location of the beach, although further away, offers a pleasant walk after the meal with a breathtaking view of Rocapina... it inspires rest par excellence; driftwood and wrought iron are everywhere highlighted and highlighted; they inspire tranquility... The Domaine de Murtoli remains a must, with a particularly nice little mention for the attention during my husband's birthday...

Good morning, I chose this table (the farm) for my son's birthday, a very warm welcome, we had an aperitif on the terrace with olives from the garden, the Chios cocktail was delicious! Then we were taken to our table in this large room with huge ceilings, decoration taken care of down to the smallest detail, we ate dishes with flavors that burst in the mouth, it was divine. Thank you boss. The staff was friendly throughout the meal, we never lacked something, the smile, the kindness, the gentleness even! Thank you for the candle, A disconnected, suspended moment. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome. It’s a great experience, a very beautiful table. We'll come back.

A magical place out of time! Discreet access, far from the crowded beaches, simple cuisine made from quality products The wines have a high price. A meal in a cozy atmosphere where the staff takes great care. Please remember to book

Very beautiful setting but not up to what one would expect from a 5 star hotel. First of all, the staff is generally not very friendly. We stayed in a suite in the hotel (not in one of the sheepfolds), the decoration is magnificent down to the smallest detail. But we had a duplex suite and we had to go up the stairs all the time, I didn't particularly like that. The breakfast is POOR, there is no other adjective to describe it: it is frugal, no choice (i.e. served at the table) and if you ask for a 2nd hot drink, it is added to the note! At €1600 per night, I think my 2nd coffee can be offered! The restaurants are good and very different in terms of atmosphere: the gastronomic, the cave and the beach. The one at the beach offers a very successful Sunday brunch: €200 per person without drinks.... The beach is very far from the hotel, around 20 minutes from the slope, you must not have forgotten your sunscreen!

We had stayed there several years ago and loved it, the food in the restaurants was exquisite with several different choices every evening. We started with an aperitif with alcohol, practically non-existent, although the ice cubes were very present. Single menu. Why not, but we expected to eat slightly different and elaborate dishes given the gastronomic pretension and the price. Bonifacienne-style eggplants, served everywhere in Southern Corsica and no more exceptional than in other restaurants, and then, fried eggs with the same sauce as the eggplants in the oven. Wow, like home! We would say that the crème caramel was very successful. The staff, perhaps trainees, especially the sommelier from whom we asked for a natural or organic wine and who brought us a bottle of sustainable agriculture, mentioning that, if he had a headache, he had doliprane. No wine list. And he sold the same wine to adjoining tables while the cellar that we see from the room behind glass housed a multitude of wines. To finish the dishes, as well as the bill were sent more quickly than in a fast food restaurant. In conclusion, the place is still as beautiful, but perhaps the extension of the terrace, just magnificent, certainly needs to be made profitable. . It’s a success with fried eggs. We will never go back there.

We’ve been Murtoli guests for 3 nights in August. The Domaine is incredibly located, quiet and with a magical atmosphere. The beach -very exclusive and protected- is perfect for a relaxing stay. The room very comfortable, huge and with a good privacy, is well equipped. The boat trip to “plage d’argent” has been amazing and the skipper was extremely professional and kind.
On the other hand there are some points to improve (I’ve sent an email at the end of our stay but I did not received any feedback/answer, and I find this extremely unprofessional.) : 1) arrived at the reception, during the check-in nobody told us about the domaine, about the swimming pool, about the golf, about the beach, about restaurants, about ANYTHING ! Spending more than 1.000€/night means receive a different treatment. 2) The guy that brought us the lagguage in the room the day of the arrival, just left them (rudely) at the entrance of the room. We expected to have them inside the fitting room. 3) Breakfast a la carte is ok, but I expect more variety of food/drinks and different choices salty and sweet. service during the breakfast has been extremely basic (nobody greet us at the arrival in the breakfast room, we’ve needed to ask how it works and so far and so on.) 4) Only the last day there was a guy, very professional, smiling and suited to the domaine. The day of the check out, at least a small bottle of water we expected but ... nothing . We just received a "have a nice trip, enjoy Corsica".

We tested the restaurant the cave. A timeless setting, a true wonder, integration into nature is an exception that deserves to be highlighted. However, what a disappointment, regarding the dishes offered and the indecent price/quality ratio! Cocktails served without even a crouton with tapenade (I don't even talk about appetizers... ) I just asked for some bread not to drink without snacking..... when to the dishes offered to arrive at 150€ / person with 2 Cocktails and 1 glass of wine.... we have known better! Staff at the top, but to eat , prefer the beach restaurant or the farmhouse restaurant but certainly not the cave

Magnificent experience. A cave. A restaurant created inside. The atmosphere is beautiful with these candles. Thursday evening Corsican evening with a Corsican menu and two singers/guitarists. We let ourselves be carried away. The exterior is also beautiful for the summer. The area is immense. We came across rabbits, wild boars, wild boar… Menu at 100 euros excluding drinks but this evening is worth it. We shared a table of 6 with a couple, a bit of a shame but we ignored it. The dishes are served directly in the dishes and we help ourselves. The quantities are good. The service is also good.

First waiter who brings the bottles (still water, sparkling water) of uncorked water, no choice but to consume sparkling water... which he places on a stool a stone's throw from our table... we will get up to grab our bottles….
Second speaker, a sommelier. This young man only had the title…, we recommended a wine ourselves…..
Third server who places the variation of meats presented on a board between my husband and my friend…. He confirms that it is eaten like that, to share!! We asked for plates to serve ourselves the potatoes and meat!
Desserts were offered to us while the young waiter cleared the table. Mixing the brushes in the flavors. No table, no prices….
The food is still excellent. However, a downside on the quantity of meat, still succulent but much less than the previous year.
Too bad that for such a luxurious place, the staff does not follow (at least this year)

Dinner at the farm, very slow and approximate service, unkept room, successful dishes but not (more) of a gastronomic level, high prices. The worst thing is to leave with the memory of a place that was exceptional and that is losing momentum. We won't come back again
