What a view! This small hotel is located in the small and remote village of Tizzano. All the rooms are on the water. They offer a large bay window to enjoy the spectacular view. They are very clean and well equipped (even with a fridge, which we rarely find everywhere in Europe). The service is very friendly. It is definitively...

As a confession I must say we did not stay here. We stopped for a coffee at their cafe bar overlooking the bay. It is one of the loveliest spots imaginable. The people we spoke to were delightful. You should consider this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful out of the way spot to relax for a few...

Overall an excellent place to stay in Tizzano and I'd highly recommend it. The service was very friendly and the hotel is quite nice. All of the rooms have a patio or balcony facing the sea. The views are great, the rooms are nice, all was clean. We slept very well and there was very little noise. There is a...

First impressions on entering our room at this hotel were extremely positive, as we were amazed at the beautiful view through the french window which looked over the bay towards a distant exotic beach. The room itself was quite basic but perfectly adequate. It was clean, comfortable and had a fridge and bathroom and separate toilet. Staff were pleasant and...

We just stayed 3 nights at hotel du golfe. Loved the place. Pros: - away from everything - all rooms have view on the sea - breakfast buffet (juice, yogurt, pastries, bread, local fresh fruit, cereals) - owners care a lot (even provided a free large water bottle before our hike!) - free kayaks (only 2 though) - free wifi...

I was indeed looking all around south cost to check a "on beach hotel" with a nice sea view. I think that Hotel de Golfe is one of the rare hotels offering the very proximity of the sea and it is with to try it. We also used this hotel into attempt to explore the southern part of Corsica. I...

On our visit to Corsica, we wanted to see the Southern part of the island, and chose Sartene as a suitable base, well not quite, we chose Tizzano, which is actually on the coast some kilometres from Sartene. I had read the great trip advisor reviews and managed to book one of the last rooms in the hotel for our...

When we travel we like to stay in places/rooms with character. Based on the photos we did not expect much character here at Hotel du Golfe and right we were. The hotel and the rooms are pretty much non-descript, with little colour or artwork in the room, which is essentially a rectangular box. That said one stays at the Hotel...
